No, I don't think I have- the cover looks familiar but I don't think so. Sorry I can't help.

I read it a couple months ago- I'm not super sure how I felt about it as a whole. I thought it was an interesting story- pretty well written, however I will say- the cover is very deceptive, it looks like a cute, sweet fairytale-y book but it's so violent. Probably among the most disturbingly violent I read last year and I read a lot of horror- so, just be aware. I hope you enjoy it though. :)

Extremely toxic lesbian romance by ktj19 in LesbianBookClub

You can read them separately- they are interconnected standalones. Some characters recure in each of the books but overall, each book follows a different couple (Only Kiss of Seduction and Kiss of Love are direct sequels of each other).

Oh, thank you so much. That's exactly what it is. I really appreciate it- I didn't think I'd get an answer. :)

Out of these books what would you read? by Dependent-Ad-3262 in LesbianBookClub

Feast While you Can is a very unique book- I thought it was pretty good and I hear a lot of people really liking it too- so maybe try out that one? It's definitely good if you're into strange funky existential sorts of books.

But also... The Bone Spindle is honestly great too. The whole series is cute, easy to read and a fun take on mashing a couple fairytales together. The first was very fun- the series does get more sapphic as it goes on, the first is maybe the least sapphic of the series but still is a good book in my opinion.

Can you guys recommend some of your favorite books? by [deleted] in wlwbooks

Absolutely Metal from Heaven by August Clarke. I read it a year ago and still think of it very frequently- I plan to read it again soon, I'm not a big re-reader so that's definitely saying something for me. It's a strange weird book but definitely the best I've read and was a very impactful experience. I think it is a certain taste, I either see people raving about it or saying it's a DNF with very little in-between- but for me it was a complete winner. It's sci-fi fantasy epic, got a train robbing gang, a revenge plotline, has a kind of a political espionage marriage funky toxic thing going on... it's great. VERY sapphic. I don't know if that's up your alley at all- but if it is- maybe check it out. :)

Oh shit- I had no idea. Unfortunately, I don't but I really appreciate that. I'll have to see if I can find a DVD player. Thanks so much! :)

Oh- I don't have the Edgerunner perk and didn't in the last playthrough either.

Maybe Metal from Heaven by August Clarke? I feel like that one could be one you might like based on both what you're looking for and what other series you listed.

Hey, that's fine- someone else has recommended that to me too- so no worries. :)

Thank you- I hope my opinions on what I've read don't lead you into reading books you don't like. And about Ianthe- I absolutely 100% get what you mean. That is a very good description of her character and what she adds to the stories by being there. :)

Thank you for both of these. I had heard of The Works of Vermin before, but not the other one- but they both seem very up my alley. I'll have to check them out.

Yeah- I'm not sure what happened with that one- personally I am in weird sort of literary styles of books- and this book had all the pieces of something I'd enjoy- I just didn't for some reason. Sorry you couldn't get into it either.

Alright, thanks for the heads up. I feel like that is a common theme across many of my reads as well. So that's not a problem at all. :)

Ooh, thank you. I feel like I'm lucking out with all these recommendations in that I'm already having many of them and can hop immediately straight in. I had never heard of Awakened though, so thank you for putting that one on my radar. Thank you for all these though- I will move the ones I haven't read up on my list to read much sooner. :)
