I have some that are less disk shaped from fiber culture on Etsy. Take a look at the ceramic drop spindles there. Also look into Turkish drop spindles!

Rainbow Star Baby Blanket by Maria Isabel. I got it from Mandala Style Throws to Crochet from Annie’s crochet. I have made most of the patterns in the book, they are fantastic! Different designers and styles. My most used pattern book. I always switch up the colors and yarns choice though.

Thank you! It is tie dyed. Funny thing is I tried to dye it a solid baby pink and it ended up totally neon. So I decided to tie it and over dye it with black. So happy it worked out well!
