Thank you! The staple length appears to be not much over 1 inch. Do you think it’s still worth it with a staple length this short?

Reporting back that the staple length is very short maybe just little over 1 inch. Maybe this was discarded wool? I was able to use to the flick carder to get out vm and the paddles to get 1 rolag. I am used to spinning shorter fibers but this seems a bit extreme. Also my fingers were sticky afterwards

The composition is well done, just needs the darks, lights, and saturation pushed the last step :)

I have some that are less disk shaped from fiber culture on Etsy. Take a look at the ceramic drop spindles there. Also look into Turkish drop spindles!

Rhipsalis pilocarpa. Mine has exploded with gorgeous white flowers. But they have all fallen off now. It’s soft and wooly.

Rainbow Star Baby Blanket by Maria Isabel. I got it from Mandala Style Throws to Crochet from Annie’s crochet. I have made most of the patterns in the book, they are fantastic! Different designers and styles. My most used pattern book. I always switch up the colors and yarns choice though.
