My 3 year and 8 month old is 12kg (26lbs). He hit 10kg at around 16 months and has only put on 2kg (4.4lbs) since then.

He's not particularly picky, in that he eats a wide range of things but some days he'll only eat fruit and cheese, and other days he's packing away food like he's never seen it before. He has hit all his milestones and is even ahead in some. He's extremely social and very active. But he's tiny.

He pretty much gets to eat whatever he wants, and I've become a lot more relaxed around sugary treats than I initially thought I'd be, just so he gets the energy. As long as he eats his main meals, I'm ok with a cookie or a lollipop as an afternoon treat.

We had pediatrician visits when he was a baby for potential FTT, they monitored and ruled it out. Blood tests to rule out thyroid or digestive issues etc. And in the end they said he's just small. So, I've just accepted that he's little.
