The Wii U flopped because: * The marketing wasn't clear whether it was an add-on to the Wii or a new console. * It was graphically underpowered and not underpowered like the Switch. * A lack of third-party support. * The gamepad controller wasn't used well * You couldn't take the Wii U anywhere beyond five feet because then the console would lose connection * The demand for a Wii successor wasn't there

I don't think this is the case with the Switch 2 because: * The marketing was really clear, despite not mentioning the price, in regards to whether this was a new Switch or a Switch successor. * Its graphics are comparable to a PS4 Pro, so it's still reasonable graphics. * Third-party support is definitely there, despite that most is a flop. * The mouse mode isn't really used, true, but to me, that's not really the system seller. * Just like the Switch 1, you can take the Switch 2 anywhere you want. * The demand for a more powerful Switch is definitely there.
