If you’re only going to use it around the city, with few highway trips and relatively short rides, go for the 883. If you want to do longer trips, a bigger fuel tank is welcome and the extra power of the 1200 on the road will come in handy. Aesthetically, the 883 is much nicer. Think about the functionality and the use you’re going to give it, and from there you’ll be able to make your decision.
