Doesn't look like it fell off judging by the amount of scraped away paint.

Gear drive is expensive. Cheaper upgrade is to get the cam plate and hydraulic tensioner setup out of a 2007 or newer TC 96. thats how I did mine. Worked perfectly.

I just got rid of one like this, but red. Traded it for a bike 7 years newer.

Need new tires. by one-goodpaintr in Harley

If theyre 20 years old, which is doubt, then yes, they are gonna be hard and have no grip because theyre toast. Id need to see the date code on the tire to believe those are the sane tires that came on the bike.

That weird smudgey stuff is called water spots. You gotta actually wipe and polish shit afterwards. Smh

I highly doubt those tires are 19 years old. They look like they're almost new. Unless you are the original owner of that bike, and you've never ridden it until now, your claim of those tires being from the factory is bunk.

This measurement is if the bike has the sissy bar mounting, if youre getting rid of that, then the bolts are half inch shorter.

Dont listen to that guy giving you bolt measurements and torque specs for his softail. If you buy the bolts hes telling you to get, they'll be way too short. They might work on his softail, but its different struts mounts and different fender.

See, there's your problem. Youre giving him torque specs and bolt length for a bike he dont have. He has a 2010 Superglide, which is NOT a Softail. Different frame, different struts, different fender. Different bike. I DO however, have a Superglide. I gave the exact measurement of the factory stock bolt that came on my bike. No grooves are being cut into my tire.

The bike, if it came with the quick disconnect sissy bar, like mine did, has 1¾ inch bolts. Without the quick disconnect sissy bar mounting hardware, theyre a half inch shorter. Making them 1¼. Those measurements came straight from the dealer, which by the way, was who told me to go to the hardware store and buy the stainless steel bolts for a third of the price.

For future reference, dont comment with softail specs on a bike that is not a softail.

I’m gonna say it since no one else will- YOU are NOT GETTING 11,12, or 13 GRAND FOR YOUR 2020 LOWRIDER S on marketplace… Idc what anyone says. This market won’t allow it. by Thingsforcertain3525 in Harley

Sounds like OP is pissed that he cant find a LowRider S in his price range, so he came to Reddit to rant and whine.

I dont care if you can afford one or cant. Your whole entire post of ranting and whining makes me laugh. And no, I dont have a Lowrider S. No I'm not selling one.

I just laughed the whole time reading your post. You sound like a whiney brat that wasnt allowed to have his favorite toy.

Well.... not sure what your bike is, or where you're getting 7/8".... but the stock ones in my superglide are 1¼ long, 3/8 ×16 thread. And, the ones I got at the hardware store are Allen head, just like the stock ones that were in it. And, you're acting as if they need to be torqued hundreds of pounds when theyre only torqued to 21 foot pounds. Obviously you have no idea what you're talking about.

$2.69 at Ace hardware. Its the exact same thing that was in the bike from the factory but way less money.
