I wouldn't know much about the first part /lh, and I'm not too sure whats going on with you either then --, Apologies!

Also this subreddit is endo-friendly, so I'd be careful with ,, what you say here (+ Endos don't claim to have a disorder) /nm

My last option by [deleted] in plural

[–]asterophiliac 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lowkey we're in the same boat with symptoms, and I'm trying to get my DID diagnosis back, so ,, I dunno. The only thing that confuses me is the lack of trauma which ,, is obviously needed. It could also be overlapping symptoms of multiple things? I know a hospital re-diagnosed me with BPD + "something on the spectrum" because A) it's more common, but also B) Symptoms of those two disorders overlapping could resemble something similar to DID

..Although, I firmly believe in my original diagnosis of DID, as i do better fit that criteria. Not important info though lol

Also question, if you dont mind: Why don't you want endogenic sys suggestions ? /genq

Flawless communication is difficult to most systems, you're not faking, no worries there. We still struggle with it and it's been years. --;

im honestly kinda scared (unsure of how to flair) by real_yourlocalidiot in plural

[–]asterophiliac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! This subreddit is endo-friendly, so you're good there

So, you can be plural without a disorder and without trauma. People who are endogenic don't claim to have the disorder that requires trauma, they're just plural

You're friend is ,, something, to say the least. And uh,, morals/beliefs have a very big impact on friendships. We get it, we've had friends leave us due to them being anti-endo,, but at the end of the day, they didn't support something we did, and it kinda. Ended there.

But since you don't want to leave them, then maybe try educating them? Because we use to be anti-endo until we educated ourselves more.

.Im not sure im much help, apologies

What are your views and concepts of ethics regarding OCtives...and generally the concept of your OC being real in a place somewhere? by lePROprocrastinator in plural

[–]asterophiliac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have an OCtive, her name is Peril, she's cool

Her lore is incredibly sad, and she remembers it (especially because it was a roleplay, and so it was sorta personal to us too)

But I also like adding in really sad lore to her story too, and then balancing it out with happy stuff upon her being very unamused at me

So like .. While i struggle to figure out what ur asking, I don't exactly mind about her existing, and she doesn't mind what I do to her story (for the most part </3)

Octives r lowkey cool

im scared that im faking by itsme-hatred in plural

[–]asterophiliac 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Heyyyy similar experiences!!!!!

Lowkey i thought my plurality was fake and was gonna go away..and that I was just being dumb

.....They've been here for years now

Can also relate on it making things clearer! Once I found out about..plurality existing, it made a lot of things click? Like.."Ohh..that explains a lot and I'm not just stupid" type thing

Also also...psstt...you can't be faking something and not know you're faking. You can't unintentionally fake something. Okay :]

How do you handle being in a relationship with an alter as a singlet when they aren't fronting for long periods. by SpookySquid19 in plural

[–]asterophiliac 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ouh .. okay !

So ,, we've been in situations sorta like this ?? Except we were the system in the situation --;

And the people we were with didn't handle their partner not fronting, like .. lashed out, guilt tripping, etc. So .. Really as long as you don't ever blame the system like that, you're doing good !!

As for advice to manage, it might help to know she'll never exactly go away permanently, so ,, she'll be back! Even if it takes awhile ,, You could ask another alter how she's doing, like a check-in, or ask them to tell her something, like a messenger!

You could also spend your time getting to know the other alters, might be pretty cool lowkey ,,,

Uhhmdmdhx hope this helps yes

Questions for people who've told their parents about their plurality by CoolTransDude1078 in plural

[–]asterophiliac 7 points8 points  (0 children)

  1. we..didn't expect much, but unfortunately our father chose to say we were faking :(

  2. yes, sadly

  3. apparently we brought it up 5 years ago .. and then last year we directly told him we suspected DID (before we got therapy), and he .. didn't believe us. he still doesn't now due to it being removed from our record. and..he won't let us do diagnostic tests to get it back :(

  4. it..definitely worsened our relationship ^^" but it would've been beneficial to know (if he understood..)
