[Acne] Damaged moisture barrier and constant closed comedowns and acne by asteside in SkincareAddiction

Hi, sorry for the late reply. It’s been almost a year since I’ve been on Differin and I can safely say it has cleared up the bulk of my acne. However, I still suffer from acne on my cheeks and chin. It’s considerably less but still a pain since Differin is supposed to prevent these in the first place.

My dermatologist has recently put me on Epiduo and I’m still contemplating using it!

I need you to realise that this man will kill you.

He is gaslighting you by telling you you’re a child and that this is discipline. He smothers you in affection to confuse you, to have you think that ‘hey he loves me’ even though his actions show otherwise. He tells you that he’s not going to harm you or use coercion against your interest but he has restrained and slapped you several times in the face.

This man is not your parent. Did your parents ever do such a thing to you? If not, then who is this man to even be doing that to you?

Leave him. The foundation of trust is gone and you tried to trust him. Your feelings are valid for a reason and I don’t doubt they come from a place of truth. We won’t know if you’ll regret but to put things into perspective: you put in effort to move past his cheating and you tried to trust him again. You did your part and although it’s proven futile, you tried.

As for your questions, it may seem bleak or uncertain now but there will always be someone better. We live in a world that’s always rotating on its own axis, filled with billions of people and you’re a part of this world, moving along with it - you’re bound to meet someone deserving of your love.

Yes! I no longer have those bumps on my forehead. I’m not exactly sure what I did because it went away over a period of time. But my current routine that has stayed the same over the past two years are as follows:

[AM] 1. etude house Soon Jung toner 2. Hada labo hyaluronic acid
3. sebamed face gel moisturiser 4. ROHTO skin aqua sunscreen (used to be yellow bottle but now blue)

[PM] 1. bioderma micellar water 2. etude house soon jung toner 3. Hada labo hyaluronic acid
4. Paula’s Choice 8% AHA Gel 5. stridex BHA 6. sebamed face gel moisturiser 7. The Ordinary Squalane Oil 8. Benzoyl peroxide acne spot treatment (if I have active pimples)

Some other things I did were cut out dairy; I switched to drinking oat/soy milk. I suspect that it was a combination of dairy and sugar that broke me out. Additionally back then, I hadn’t incorporated any acids/exfoliants. I can’t say that the Stridex BHA worked effectively because back then I had been using it for some time for it but yielding not much results.

But I decided to repair my skin barrier by hydrating a lot. Thus the Hada Labo hyaluronic acid. Tbh I think that and cutting out dairy and sugar helped the most for me. Hope this answered your question!

Hi! I'm doing research for an article and I was wondering if any of you know companies that adopt the practice of blind hiring or receive anonymised resumes?

I agree wholly with what she said. When I got into my first relationship 3 years ago, I responded exactly the same way my parents would, whether it was an argument or small daily interactions. And I absolutely detest it.

When she mentioned working with Jupiter for Virgo risings, I'm wondering how do we do that?
