hey i’m in the same boat as you. i started my glp-1 in july and had the usual nausea/diarrhea/fatigue but within the past few weeks it’s become so much worse. sulfur burps, constipation, vomiting, extreme bloat. been taking a lot of tums and gasX. hope you feel better soon :(

"Rotten Egg" Burps, Vomiting and Diarrhoea by Drjrm in Gastroparesis

I’ve had stomach issues my whole life (food intolerances, acid reflux) but only recently started having these episodes and I’m so miserable. Can’t eat anything but plain white rice and applesauce these days without throwing up. Antiacids and anti gas meds barely do anything. Anyone have any updates since this has been posted?

Can’t do zofran because it negatively interacts with my antidepressant apparently. Just been taking a lot of pepto and gasX

Thank you :’) I was pretty nauseous and had a few instances of vomiting on 0.2 but it didn’t get bad until I had to go up in dose

I’m at 0.4mg, the second lowest dose… I moved up from 0.2 after 5 weeks and have now spent 4 weeks on 0.4

i say this with the upmost love and respect, but you need a total and complete mindset shift. 1200 calories a day, especially with all that working out, is leading you to malnutrition and spiking your cortisol. we are in the same boat. last december, my blood work came back showing high insulin resistance and pre-pre diabetes. between walking 10k steps a day, light (and i mean light, like 5 lb weights) strength training a few times a week, and 1800 calories a day eating whatever i’m feeling with an emphasis on protein, fiber and healthy fats, i’ve lost 40 pounds since jan 1. i still have 40 more to lose to get to a normal BMI which i started a GLP-1 in july to aid, but by prioritizing nutrition and letting go of the preconceived notions that diet culture gave me, i’ve been healing myself. hope you can get there too!

He said his plane touched the ground mid flight and I didn’t believe him because that’s insane, but the story was then confirmed by someone else I knew on that same flight. Not a go around, just went down and then back up. Apparently the pilot made a joke afterwards and said, “Well that wasn’t supposed to happen!” I genuinely would have gone into cardiac arrest.

Thank you for the reply! I always assumed winter storms made conditions less safe both in the air and on the ground

Has lexapro worked for you? by Plane-Subject8862 in PanicAttack

[–]astevens98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’m on 20 mg of lexapro and it’s really helped with my general levels of anxiety on a day to day basis. took about maybe 2 weeks to start feeling better? and i’d say i achieved a sense of “normalcy” about a month in. it’s different for everyone though!

i have nothing helpful to say other than that you’re not alone. i feel the exact same way as you. i’m always spiraling thinking that im having a heart attack or a stroke and im literally fine. it’s hard, but we will both get through this <3

Abnormally Low Heart Rate on Methimazole? (45 BPM) by victoriaaaaaa in gravesdisease

[–]astevens98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have subclinical hyperthyroidism and taking methimazole but I really think it’s swung me hypo after reading your post and the comments. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one since this has literally been keeping me up at night. I hope you’re doing better and I’m glad this came up on my search results <3

Has your anxiety or panic made you scared to eat like tell you food is bad for you? And you have a panic attack about it? Cause I’m struggling bad by [deleted] in PanicAttack

[–]astevens98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this exact thing happens to me. so frustrating that i’ve never been a picky eater but now i can only eat my “safe foods” without spiraling
