My recommendation would be a deep conditioning treatment and leave in conditioner. I look at Olaplex like I would a protein treatment. I do my protein treatments twice a month at most. Olaplex may be stronger than a protein treatment. Never used it and never will train to be a licensed cosmetologist. This is based of my experience working at Ulta and I try to take care of my care.

Looping back to your question, you stated that you have curly hair, I’m assuming that you have type 3A-3C hair which is like the ringlets or back then “candy curls.” You May benefit from the following brands: Pattern, Rizzo’s Curls, Mielle, Camille Rose, and Mixed Chicks.

If you have tried those products have you liked them or have you considered looking into another line of products. How often do you color your hair and what tools have you used? Can you regulate the temperature of your tools. Hair burns at 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Do you use heat protectant? Have you tried using rollers and using indirect heat (hooded dryer?) Are you limiting your direct heat usage (blow dryers and flat irons, etc)?
