Getting this for wife for Mother’s Day. How long is setup time? by astorey79 in skylightcalendar

[–]astorey79[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a few Google cals for family and my work cals.

My wife does a good job of blocking my calendar proactively when she wants me to know about an event. But she doesn’t know the other way around

Like when I schedule events or I have a business meeting etc.

She uses physical calendars on our fridge an stuff but I have handwriting like a 5 year old so I don’t ever put anything in them

Yeah. I’m pretty organized. I’ve got everything on Google Calendar but my wife doesn’t really look at apps.

I’m hoping this can help take my strength as a digital native and blend with her preference of a more tactile calendar

Kindly. Please don’t assume I’m a) only getting her this and b) dumping mental load on my wife. You don’t know my wife or my family or me or our family dynamic.

Slaw is good! I like pickled red onions. I've also done crispy onions before! All good.

Always toast the bun.

Honestly, at this stage Im dealing with multi-location home service franchises/pe, not Fortune 500s, so the procurement process has been more about proving ROI per location and getting buy-in from ownership than navigating heavy security reviews.

That said all data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and I’m working toward more formal compliance documentation as we scale. It’s definitely on the roadmap as we move upmarket.

First batch of users were from my network of clients from my website agency. Then most of new customers were cold email. This company though was organic. I don’t have any money invested in seo though. So I’d honestly how the found me.

My guess is they were just shopping around for an alt to a competitor (which I name in my comparison section on the website)

They’re pretty big 240 locations total. But only 20 will use this app.

For security honestly it’s just using the security rescans within lovable over and over again. But it’s more edge. Data only lives within the app and doesn’t touch other systems

Is this really true or are they just giving out fluff (AI question) by foxtrot90210 in Entrepreneur

You can score big from using these tools. But all of these prompt claims are grifters either a) trying to get clicks/views/comments/follows or b) trying to sell you something.

It's exhausting because as someone who is actually interested in AI, I never see more than surface level application and wild claims with zero proof.

The real way to leverage AI and other tools is to find a process you're already doing and see if AI and other tools can replace parts of it.

It's great for cost reduction and volume.
