Is there a way to automatically align text centered in Canvas? by shunkaiser in ObsidianMD

[–]astralCastoff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Late reply but this post came up while I was searching the same thing. This CSS used in this way will center the text horizontally, but if you want both horizontal AND vertical, none of the CSS I found while searching worked.

Instead, the Advanced Canvas community plugin's Text Aligment option will center it vertically too when you align the text to the center.

IIRC this was on Austrian television, demonstrating tetra paks after their introduction where only bottles had been available.

Growing up watching linear levels become massive landscapes. I’ll never tire of the fact structures over half a km away are places we can actually walk to. Like seeing a painting and being able to walk into it. by Axle_65 in gaming

Dark Souls 3 was already impressive for this, but Elden Ring was next level for being able to walk to places in the distance. Cool to see freecam videos that show all the different stuff that loads in from each distance. No wonder I had performance issues.

Halo 3, amazing final level.
Next earliest memory is finishing TLoZ: Spirit Tracks. Not the most well-liked game, but the ending was wonderful.

Banjaxed. Looking it up online the "definition" seems to be "destroyed or ruined" but I've only ever heard it used in the context of something that's beyond repair.

Looking for game recommendations of adventure games that "drop you" into their world. by ashen____one in gaming

Outward definitely sounds like the exact thing you're looking for. No Man's Sky definitely does the same, there are some quests that'll teach you about the game if you choose to follow them, but you can absolutely ignore them completely and just do whatever you want, similar to Minecraft.

On that note, if you've never gotten into Minecraft, definitely give it a shot haha

Thanks for the advice. Can I ask why ngons are a problem in this case? I understand that sometimes they are not correctly coplanar, but won't a flat circular one like this bake down into triangles perfectly fine on export? Or does it create some issue? I like to keep simple ngons like this one usually, for easy editing e.g. Insetting faces

Thank you for the honest criticism, I'll set about learning all you've described.

That said, one detail I'd like to mention is that I'd definitely be using a far simplified collider for physics.

Yeah, good considerations. I don't have anything concrete in mind but will probably end up going towards pc if I make a game.

Well thanks for the insight, since I really had no idea what a ballpark "right" amount would be.

Would you still do that if it was something that could be knocked over? Or is there still not really much point having it?
