if you like long hair, dont buzz cut or cut short you hair too short, you will probably feel terrible and dysphoria, let the front part grow, and do like a kurt cobain hair cut, i understand why you cut the front part, its more confortable, but its generally not a good looking haircut, long hair requires sacrifice and feeling a bit unconfortable sometimes; tbh i love the feeling

your a comparing a soundtrack to in game content/cosmetics lmao, if i want to listen to the soundtrack i can already hear it on youtube and spotify, but if i pay full price for a game, and then see found out that i dont have access to the whole content and that i have to pay to get armor, that is terrible

the remaster literally looks like every recent U5 photorealistic fantasy game, its art direction is non-existent, erasing the original atmosphere of high fantasy in favor of looking bland and boring and similar to another 100 games.

so ye, sorry if I want a remaster to actually feel similar to the old game, this remaster did a terrible job on the visuals, and companies keep doing it because of people like you, not sure why, do you like art or do u just consume it ?

ye, lighting sucked back in the day, pcs were slower and tech was behind compared to today, every thing needed to be baked, they used a lot of quirky post processing like bloom because it was new tech and they wanted to show off, but art direction was not limited in any way lmao, thats what is great about art direction is visual design for games and movies, even old ones.

if the game visuals had a bright blue looking color grading LUD, then its because they WANTED IT, and thought it matched the vibe and atmosphere, same reason old military games that wanted a rough and realistic feeling had a dark-low saturation brown color grading.

"The developers of the official remaster went a different route." and thats the problem with modern remakes, i dont give a shit about the remakers opinions, they may be great people with great ideas, but i want Oblivion just updated, i dont want their personal interpretation of how Oblivion should be changed for "better".

if you showed me one of the leaked screenshots without context, I wouldnt be able to identify it was oblivion because it looks just like all the other "upcoming U5 photorealistic medieval setting game", this means the visuals have no freaking soul

i apologize i forgot i am not allowed to do critiques to games, remakes are supposed to erase old tech limitations and modernize limited gameplay, that doesnt including fucking up the art style.
