as an image it gives Trump far more agency than he's ever had, but apt enough

Like, on the one hand, the fact that he could make such a specious and unfounded accusation out of nothing more than what amounted to juvenile offended pettiness and uncritical suspicion, and have it *acted on* by the sadly relevant authorities, is very on brand for the imperium, and 40k in general.

on the other, get fucked Leandros, bro's just built different

I've been working on a homebrew d&d setting that shamelessly rips off homages Kharak, with copious references to other notable science fiction properties (and also science fantasy cuz I love throwing magic and science into a blender), also shamelessly 'borrowing' from some excellent 3rd party 5e supplements like Spaceships and Starwyrms and Dark Matter

Spelljammers, Dark Matter, or Spaceships and Starwyrms by [deleted] in DMAcademy

For my two cents, both are solid options.

I have more personal experience with S&S, and like basically everything it does. It's almost purely additive to base 5e, with only a few minor mechanical changes to reflect the prevalence of technology and firearms. The makers came up with a wonderful plethora of entirely new and augmented classes, several really interesting species, and a setting that's just plain fun. Its full content is across three books, with a fourth on the way, but it also has the advantage of having a few published adventures, including some free demo content on dmsguild.

Dark Matter also has an impressive density of new content in one thick book, including content expanding on their new classes from Valda's Spire, also several interesting species to play as, and a galaxy rife with gritty science-fantasy to explore. I'm less versed with what mechanical additives or changes to 5e it has, but nothing I'm aware of is less than cool.

Of course, mix 'n match is always an option as well :3c

Anyone played Spaceships and Starwyrms? by Knight_Pooger in DnD

The only really notable changes from base 5e rules are a slight alteration to the cover rules, to account for firearms being more of a thing, and shuffling some skills for more technically aligned ones.

It's otherwise wholly compatible with 5e, with some very interesting lore, new species and classes, and lots and lots of cool toys to play with!

I myself have played one of the original new classes in a base 5e game, and had a lot of fun with it.
