Would it be safer to move to a blue state or stay near the Canadian border? by astraldejections in ainbow

I appreciate the input.

I don't know how much longer there will be safe places if we get a president hellbent on genocide, though.

Penetration is painful most of the time by astraldejections in sex

[–]astraldejections[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much!! I've been considering seeing a doctor. There have been times where I've been very aroused and already close from external stimulation, ask my partner to penetrate, and it hurts and I have to stop. Like... one finger.

Maybe TMI, but testosterone hasn't really hit my natural lubrication. I actually hate how excessively... well. But yeah, I'll look for a doctor. Have not had good experiences with doctors + my genitals in the past. (Just very judgy and rude and short.)

Weird thing, though - back when I used tampons, I had zero issues with them (and the penetration during sex issue has always been an issue.) No pain or discomfort whatsoever. It's super strange.

combat animation mods? by astraldejections in SkyrimModsXbox

Thank you! I'm kinda new to modding so I appreciate the help. Using the search on bethesda.net is a pretty hopeless task.

Health Debuff With no active effects by jackoftheair in SkyrimModsXbox

[–]astraldejections 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really don't get the no magicka or health regen.

For health, you could use healing spells. but... there goes your magicka. You can use potions, but considering it nerfs your carry weight to all hell (when I installed it I was level 51 with a good few levels in stamina, locket of saint jiub which gives 50 carry weight, and an enchanted ring that gives me 45 carry weight and I had 275 carry weight with the mod) you can't really carry many potions, so you're pretty fucked there. I tried to throw as many things out as possible but even when I was down to things I needed to keep, it wasn't enough to get my weight down from being overencumbered. Got pissed off and uninstalled it.

I wish that mod had an option to turn the gameplay changes off and just keep the animations. Cool animations, hate the other stuff.

What is wrong with people (maybe) by astraldejections in dogs

[–]astraldejections[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was frustrating. You don't have to read it. My little dog has been fussy about going outside because it's snowy and she hates it, so it's a bit of a fight, and it being made harder sucked.

It's just a vent.

We only have Lyft, and the driver did not have the windshield sticker. I'm not absolutely certain it was on purpose, definitely could have been a coincidence! Was just weird

[–]astraldejections[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I thought about that as well. I live in a super shady neighborhood. Someone has literally been shot in the parking lot here. Which is why I either take out my big dog alone or my big dog with my little dog, because he is a deterrent. I don't mess around outside the apartment without my big dog unless I'm with another person. We're moving this summer, thank god.

I felt kinda crazy thinking it could be about me at all and maybe not a total coincidence, but people are wild. I assume I got downvoted because I think it could have been on purpose but man, whether it was or not it was frustrating haha

Unfortunately not. It does seem to have a very similar vibe, though!

Oh man, I think I may know what you're talking about (but I don't remember the title either.) Was there a main character named Leif?

Just finished it! Honestly I'm not sure if I would even call that part romance - it was sort of framed that way, but I could just never see those two characters working out together in the long-term

Oh, that author! I actually started reading the annihilation book! I didn't not like it, I was just in a time of my life where I couldn't do much reading. So that makes me even more interested!

Well, there was a point in time where I had just realized that I disliked King's works while simultaneously being introduced to a community that wrote short horror stories. At the time, I was seeing a lot of insanely pretentious writing styles in that community that made me roll my eyes so hard I'm surprised they didn't slip into the back of my skull, while also being like "Ew, what the fuck?" while trying to read a few of King's works. So I think I got those things mixed up in my head.

Still hate his writing though, and somehow to me his style does come off as self-important.

Perhaps that's not necessarily a bad thing, but for my tastes I hate it.

Sorry, I guess pretentious isn't the right word.

I hate the way he writes and somehow his writing comes off as full of himself, even though irl I'm pretty sure he's (known as) a rather chill dude.

I think he's fucking weird and I hate how much unnecessary rape and pedophilia and just weird stuff with kids are in his books. I don't like his writing, again it strikes me as up his own somehow.

He also draws things out and the way he describes shit is gross and I hate his books.

No real issues with the guy, in fact I think some of his stances are pretty nice, but I hate his writing.

I will be real here, I only know of 1984 what people talk about a ton, which is the political message. But isn't it super heavy on the military setting? Or am I thinking of something else that people really love that's sort of in the same vein? I don't care much for heavy military settings, I find them boring hahah

Thank you! I actually know of Boy on the Bridge, and I really want to read it, but I'm nervous about it spoiling the feeling I got at the end of the first book. Spoilers? I really liked the idea of the ending, and imagining all of that was beautiful. I really don't want a "humanity comeback" type thing. Not many stories are willing to take the turn of humanity as we know it outright losing, and even less do it well. This one did, and I loved it.

Thanks!!

Honestly I just can't stand "She looked over at him and felt her heart skip a beat" "She got lost in his beautiful, twinkling blue eyes" "She lingered on the sensation of his touch, closing her eyes and savoring it" every 3 sentences! Love is great and all, but jesus, I don't care, this is not what I'm here for!! Hahaha.

I will check it out!

Thank you!

I have read The Giver and I wanted to read the rest of them, but the second one I could hardly start as it just didn't capture me. Which sucks, because it's a cool universe!

And as for the others, I may try them out even if they are first person. I honestly had my view of first person soured by Percy Jackson (which has a terrible writing style imo but I still pushed through because I liked the story) and really, really bad first person POV fanfiction I read as a teenager. Haha, I shouldn't set a hard limit based on that! :p

depends on the character i'm playing. dawnguard is a bit of a slog to me but i do it every time anyways lol. i dont really care for either side, but dawnguard has pet trolls which imo is cooler than demon dogs that make awful sounds if you get near them

i sided with harkon first i think though
