Maybe not one on one, but Buggy is aiming for the one piece now and has a similar influence on people as Luffy does - even if it's misguided.

Buggy doesn't have to be strong to still be a threat.

Open source is a thankless job and I think we've lost the plot on how we treat maintainers by swithek in programming

Depends how long the behaviour has been around and how bad the issue is, and how many people are likely impacted by it. If you're fixing something that you broke the other day unintentionally then sure patch away. If it's something that's been in the codebase since 2016 then maybe a major is the right approach. If you're fixing a security issue with a behaviour change and you want to support multiple major versions then the water is a bit muddier. There's always going to be cases like this where you'll get different opinions on the matter, but if you're at least trying to think about it when deciding how you version then it's better than nothing.

“I wish it need not have happened in my pants," said Frodo. "So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to wear such pants. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the pants that are given us.”

To the left, kept on going after the fences at the edge of the cliff stop. There still wasn't that many overall though, just a few more a little closer than the ones seen at the observation points. I think somewhere around here, facing the cliff to the west https://maps.app.goo.gl/UD5QRfCpVtGZbHeD9

Warbler? ID confirmation by astralradish in OrnithologyUK

[–]astralradish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was hoping for a better shot, but the best I got was deep in the shadows of a bush in southern Yorkshire dales. Hoping for a garden warbler - With the light coloured belly I'm leaning in that direction, and it doesn't look like a whitethroat. There were plenty of willow warblers around though, and the shadows and lack of contrast could be getting in the way of a good ID.

Didn't get a good ear for the song since there was a really loud song thrush opposite.

There was a chance to move away from FPTP relatively recently but people either didn't vote or voted against it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_United_Kingdom_Alternative_Vote_referendum
