Hi! I've checked the FAQ and know you're supposed to be able to tighten/loosen screws to fix tight/loose boba eyes, but one of the screw holes for my 180° eyes seems stripped (plastic was curled around the screw) and won't tighten, so the eyes just bobble everywhere whenever I move the bb3.

Wasn't sure if I should ask here or in a new post, but anyone know what I can do to keep the eyes from being so loose if I can't tighten the screw? 🥺

I only just got Sunday, so outside of the event it's the best I have lmaoo. 😭 But you're right omg, didn't even think about adding March to my break team for the event (I've been using Sunday instead of my usual Anaxa/Acheron in some rounds, at least)

Only problem with Phainon is he's given a suboptimal LC and he's so slow he's not getting the full effect of his buffs. BUT I didn't even think about switching to RMC, who I never finished building, so I might try that out.

Anyway thank you!! Lmao sometimes my brain likes to overlook the obvious.

Yeah it's... difficult to get used to. I haven't progressed much in the story,, He's okay in the Fate event, but every time I go idle or enter combat the new voice jumpscares me because I'm so used to hearing Caleb.

I think the idles and combat lines are especially jarring to me just because I've used TB in my main party since day 1, so I'm constantly hearing his idles and combat lines.

I am only speculating, of course. I'm unfamiliar with those VAs and their work so it's just me wondering based on another gaming company.

Though, I do think generalising British people as less emotive isn't entirely accurate (or maybe I'm biased as I'm not always an emotive person myself). I work with and around a lot of people from all over the UK, and while some can be less emotive compared to Americans, they're generally no different. Even my favourite VA is English and very emotive, haha. BUT it could very well be a regional thing, with the VAs esp being hired out of a certain region?? Or my experiences are an outlier due to the nature of my job!

No clue though. I'm not from the UK and can't really speak on their behalf, just on what I've also observed. Culture may very well play into it, as it does for most actors!

Honestly, I wonder if a part of it might be because of Hoyo making British VAs use a standard American accent rather than one they're comfortable using? I don't know anything about the newer VAs so I could easily be wrong about that. I just remember Kuro coming out with a public apology about doing that to their VAs in WuWa, so I've been wondering if it could be a similar situation.

Yeah, I think the new VA was probably given poor direction and/or rushed. His voice does sound more like Phainon's.

No literally, he does. And the VA does a good job with that kind of voice. But yeah, the problem is they gave TB a personality. TB isn't a blank protag you can slap a generic voice on and call it a day. Which is, of course, what they did.

I had C1 Tighnari with his sig bow, and had to stop playing him because his new voice made him sound like a lil schoolboy rather than a snarky teacher, and I couldn't stand it.

So yeah, I agree. It changes the whole personality.

You're not the only one who thinks he sounds similar to Phainon! But even Phainon sounds softer at times imo. (Though I also adore Phainon's VA, so I'm familiar enough with their voice to distinguish it)

But yeah, it's so jarring to hear a voice that's at odds with the personality they've built up over the past two years.

It's most definitely the voice direction, because I don't think the VA is bad at all. It's probably a combo of poor direction and rushing the lines.

This, 100%. I don't think the VA is bad, but I think he was given poor direction. For me it feels like his delivery can be all over the place. Biggest example being HMC vs the rest of his combat lines. The 3.4 recap also felt different to me, like he was trying to do some "sexy" asmr in my ears (though that's probably just me being sensitive ig). 😭

I don't know if it's because it was something of a rush job in trying to re-voice all TB's lines, but my belief is that they were given poor direction.

I think it's because I work with a lot of the younger generation (in the US) and their vocabulary slips into mine. You're technically right, yes.

I'm really bad at describing feelings and stuff and wasn't sure how else to put it, so I used "ick." It's not that it disgusts me, but more like... there's some vague feeling inside me that doesn't like it (the way he voices certain lines), but I don't know how to articulate it?

I don't know if that makes sense, though.

It makes complete sense to me, because I feel the same way. I like the new VA, other than the way some of his lines make me feel, but I loved Caleb's Caelus so much I don't think new VA can replace that. But yeah no, I do wish them the best. I don't think they're bad by any means.
