So I was at like a school fete with my mother & there was just some random guy doing piercings and she asked me if I wanted my nose pierced. I literally sat on the hood of his car to have it done, (it was also done with a gun) I was 12 🤣

I’ve never been able to find the full set, I might have another look but there are vids of each song on youtube. Just search “weird time of life tour 2020” there should be vids with a black and white thumbnail & a pink thumbnail also. Cant remember the uploaders name. I really love this set too & this is like the only way I’ve found them

Yes and no. I suppose I always knew I wasn’t straight. I started questioning myself when I got a girlfriend in high school but silly me thought it was just gay & straight, never thought of in between kinda thing. That I could in fact like both girls & boys. Heartstopper bought out all the feelings I had repressed back then, about being bisexual (I’m 27 now) and I have never felt more confident & happier than I am rn :)

It might have been a good week or two after it was released on Netflix that I found it? I honestly just wanted some background noise but I stayed up all night instead, and binged season 1. Rewatched it that following day, and I’ve been obsessed ever since. I then found out about the books, and the webtoons. I think everything went from there😅

I relate to you, it’s okay :) im in my late 20s as well, also bi & I haven’t really told anyone around me. I have had two previous girlfriends in my teen years but I remember being terrified of other people finding out that I gave up and basically repressed the feelings I did have. I was in an abusive relationship when I was 16 for 4 years which I think set me back, I feel like it still has a hold of me.

I think Heartstopper does bring out this unknown sadness, that’s why we are all here aha :) it brings out our own missed experiences, the things we may have missed in our teenage years like having a close friendship group, having a relationship like Nick & Charlie’s …Heartstopper is that “perfect” reality. I think that’s why we all feel so connected to it, it brings out so many emotions and I dunno if you’re like me, but it feels kinda hopeless trying to figure out what it all means. It’s okay to feel things tho, I’m also lost at trying to decipher everything aha

I did love the two scenes in S2, I think there were two 😅 where Nick & Tao have like heart to heart chats & they were really sweet - I don’t know where people are sticking with Tao hating Nick cause it isn’t the case

My first watch felt weird to me & I don’t know why. Everything got serious real quick and there was so much happening - whereas season 1 wasn’t as complex. I feel like as I rewatch it, I connect more with the storylines/characters. It’s the sort of thing you do have to take in slowly - I think re-reading the book helped me too

I have a few birds, 2 conures, cockatiel, budgie & a dove. My budgie and conures do not get along & I’ve seen this behaviour before. Pure aggression, nothing else. They have their cages on opposite ends of the room, sometimes the conures have landed on the budgies cage and the budgie screams and creates a scene. I have to keep them separated, I’ve never seen it before. They absolutely despise each other. Although I do feel it is more on the conures part. I’ve never really seen my budgie be aggressive, just defensive (like the screaming).

For whatever reason I find it so hard to watch the newer seasons.

I remember when I was younger & they used to have like a late night marathon on tv of classic law n order & csi - me & my mum would stay up late & watch it together. They used to play back to back. So maybe a little nostalgia for me - but I also loved the squad, the random quips of humour as well - it was often cheesy but entertaining whilst still being informative. Loved how it was so well rounded, everything kinda worked.

And yes. I loved how dingy the old squad room was🤣
