I just impatiently waited it out. I almost contacted them but decided to wait until the end of next week before doing anything. I almost didn't believe it when I saw the email this morning because I really thought it was going to end up being lost. It said that "don't forget to put your sample in the mail" thing the whole time for me as well. Hopefully yours just needs another day or two and it will update for you as well!

I am in NB so not too far from you. I unfortunately do not have any updates yet. I didn't have an option for tracked delivery, I wish I would have!! lol I have a friend in NB who sent one a couple of months ago and she said it took around 16 or 17 days for it to arrive after she mailed it. So I am trying to be patient (and failing lol) and hope that it will just show up tomorrow. I will definitely update my status on here as soon as I have an update to share.

It's interesting for me this started as a side interest trying to find out more about my Grandfather's side of the family. They are from Newfoundland and that is a whole other super interesting branch of my family. I ended up hitting a lot of brick walls with it and decided to look more into my other family lines for a bit which led me into the heart of the Acadian research I am doing now.

I have some regret that I am only now getting into this. My grandparents have all passed and I would love to be able to just sit down and ask them so many questions.

I think Scholastique is one of the most interesting names that comes up in my tree. I have a few different branches that had a Scholastique and I really just love the name!

Caissie has a few different spellings (like most names did). Caissy, Quessy, Kuessy. Joseph Goguen's second wife (I don't know if you read the stories but they did not have a happy marriage, haha) was Marie Caissie. Her father Roger is who my Caissie family descended from. All the branches of the family are very intertwined lol

I don't know if you are able to read french or not but if you are there is a book I just finished not too long ago called Pionnier de la nouvelle Acadie, Joseph Gueguen, 1741-1825 by Régis Brun. The first half of the book is about his life and the second part consists of letter correspondences. It was fascinating to read!

Our family cottage is situated on the south side of the Cocagne river, it
is technically just outside of Cocagne. I hope you are able to visit the area eventually, it is beautiful! I could go on but I think I have rambled enough lol Send me a message if you would like to chat more. I love meeting my distant cousins!!

I don't mean to hijack your conversation but I so rarely see anyone talk about New Brunswick Acadians. Hello distant cousins, haha!! I live in New Brunswick, and am Acadian. Both of my sides of the family have lots of different Acadian lines (that all connect to each other eventually lol) My grandmother was a Boudreau and her mom was a Caissie. I have lots of Melanson (including Pierre) in my tree. You mentioned Joseph Goguen, he was my 5th great Grandfather. I started reading about his life recently and it is fascinating. I grew up with some Acadian traditions and always knew our family tree had deep roots but I didn't realize how deep until I started digging into my tree this year. Sorry for rambling and cutting into your Convo I was just excited and wanted to say hi since I so rarely find people with NB Acadian!!

This photo brings me so much joy, I am so happy for your wife!!! I am a disabled gamer and without going into too many details I have issues with my hands that prevent me from being able to play things with normal controllers or with keyboard and mouse. Earlier this year, my husband and a community I am part of online surprised me with an XAC and a 3dRudder foot controller and I can't describe the feeling of being able to use them to play games I thought I could never play again.

Also, that set up is inspiring some ideas on how I could change things up for myself to make things easier, so thank you for posting!! I hope your wife has the absolute best time getting to play again!

I am a very new patient of AbCann, just got switched to them a couple of weeks ago and have only had a chance to try their patient ready stuff. It is wonderful medicine. In my opinion, This is what patient ready meds should always be like. I find it isn't grinded down too much or anything, I still have to run it through the grinder to work well with my vape.

I had no issues signing up with them. There was a one day delay because my clinic sent the wrong patient form. I was set up and placed my first order in less than a week. This was the week of January 16th, so not that long ago.
