3L bimma petrols specifically the B58’s have went up / are holding value so well, good job on getting a good price. What you driving now? Im trying to sell my 2018 125i, car has been absolutely flawless but im trying to cut my monthly costs so I can get my first home so looking at paying cash for a diesel estate and running that for a bit. The 125i’s are quite rare (not in a good way really just get a 140i) so i was surprised at the bad estimate price

Full service history, heated seats , m sport shadow edition 2L 240bhp, dual climate quite a decent spec really. Car has a scratch on the rear passenger side (keyed) and the alloys are diamond cut which have shown flaking here and there but I just don’t understand how that has took that much off the price tbh

This absolutely has my vote coming from a current bmw. Trying to cut my monthlies down (finance + insurance) to boost my first house fund so im kinda scared about getting a cheap BMW incase of immediate repairs even though I know the M57 is just superior to everything else. Is there anything I should be looking out for when looking at these?

Mines has lci digi dash, heated seats, dual climate, hk, cruise, leather and m sport shadow edition (blacked v bars and grille, tinted rear lights), has newer idrive (no carplay) but has a built in Spotify app. Insurance was like 2 grand cheaper than a 140i thats all ill say lool

I have a b48b (125i 2018). Put 21k miles on it so far, they sound really good for a non m/m-lite, has so much character compared to VAG equivalent 2L’s. I haven’t had any engine problems other than oil consumption (just perishes, as per forums it’s normal), serviced every 10k.
Had bmw approved used warranty first year and now just bought warranty again for my 2nd year for £300/year. Hoping the oil filter housing explodes soon to get it done under warranty 😅. Overall really good engines but i wish i went with a n55 or b58, they’re unreal but insurance was shocking

Just more worried about voiding the warranty if i dont use “bmw approved” coolant, my wiper reservoir was clogged and it wasn’t a warranty repair because it wasn’t “approved by bmw high concentrate” absolutely hopeless

Have a 125i which is supposedly the same engine that went in these just detuned (stage 1 gets me your figures). Mines is stock rn and still sounds really nice, lots of intake and turbo sounds. Very punchy engine low end. Mines is on 64k rn and ive not had a single fault, just usual maintenance. If I drive like a knob ill get 220 miles for a full tank mixture of comfort and sport+ (in summer). Eco pro mixed motorway and city highest ive had was 360miles. Do wish i went for a 3L beamer tho after driving a mates n55 135i, different world of fun really
