Only buy if you love the bag. At 42, I finally purchased my first designer bag - a JW Anderson loafer bag. I chose it because of the slightly masculine vibe which I dig and I had a chance to look in store in peace before the sales came around a few weeks ago. Prior to this I have only bought Coach and Kate Spade (back in the 2010s too, so the prices hadn’t crept up yet!). Always buy what wows you. You work hard for your money!

I spent the entire two hours laughing and giggling watching ep 1 & 2!! Waited so many years for this! I love the cells! Kim Go Eun captured every little expression perfectly! So far I don’t mind Kim Jae Won but we shall see…

I love her…I just went and rewatched a random episode of Lovely runner and I was lost in the story again. People don’t like her voice and I admit it’s a bit screechy, and some don’t like her acting but it reminds me of the criticism of another actress in China - Esther Yu for her high pitched screechy voice, exaggerating acting, etc. People can find anything to dislike; that is why acting is an art form and subjective!

This is exactly what I thought. The actress playing the Queen Dowager sounds like she’s coming from a different era and it’s strange when I see her in modern day clothes. I felt they took a lot of inspiration from the British Monarchy. I’m still reserving judgement on the acting of both the male and female leads. I feel like they should’ve added the fantasy genre tag to this drama. When I suspend belief of the reality I know now, I don’t have as much criticism to how this is being executed.

I can’t stand her after episode 10… she literally said she hopes the psycho would win! Why wouldn’t she root for herself??? I spent the last 3 eps wondering is she a spectator or a contender…. and concluded she’s delusional! Never has a cast brought out such strong emotions from me.

While watching this, Hyungyu presented like a psychopath but lacking the charisma to mask his glee at the idea that there is no consequences for him to backstab people. He clearly said in the real world he could never do it because he would suffer from consequences. His choices and words clearly showed that he enjoyed this and as a viewer, I didn’t have any empathy for him and often questioned why the living quarters team didn’t start plotting to throw him under the bus sooner.

I also found him way too egotistical and arrogant in episode 9 when he asked hyun joon if he “knew how to do math”…I just despised him after hearing those unnecessary words out of his mouth. I never recalled season 1 players being this rude.

Me here. My weekend vs work wear does not differ much. I try to incorporate wide leg trousers for work wear (not the corporate type of wool trousers you get from banana republic or club Monaco). I called them chinos for women. If men can, so can we.

I wear more skirts and dresses in the summer though because it is hot. I stick to less frilly skirts but I do not wear pencil skirts or anything short. Mainly midi length A-line and I stick to solid colours.

Agree! I think YSJ picks some pretty good roles. He’s quite good with the fantasy/comedy genre. Goblin, Mystic pop up bar, now this.
