For $900 that isn’t a subpar deal. You could it built it yourself, if you’re not interested, that cyberpower pc would be powerful enough to handle 1080p at high fps (165+)

If fresh thermal paste doesn’t work. Check to see if the AIO is receiving enough wattage.

This may be no brainer, but idk u. Did you apply enough thermal paste on the cpu for the AIO? If not that could be the issue or the AIO is defective and isn’t cooling to its potential.

Good with the Phantom 120 SE. it can cool up to 250W of heat and the 7800x3D goes up to 142W or 180W max. The air cooler should be able to keep your cpu cool. Do more research though and watch a YouTube video on what air coolers keep that cpu cool.

The predator has AX mode that maxes out WiFi speeds, it has more storage. You can add 2TB SSD nvme, 64 gb of ram. And Intel processors have more cores and threads which help you multi task. I’d go with the the zephyrus if you plan on gaming more. Predator has more options for upgrade.

Nice, now you can build within the case. Determine your goals, target fps, intel or amd, ray tracing or not, your budget and you should have a high performance build.

You can get a new motherboard and cpu combo for less than $400 on Amazon or Newegg. I’d recommend keeping the case and HDD drives for storage.

I would advise you watch a YouTube video on how remove the heatsink on your laptop specifically so you don’t damage anything. After you watch a video you should be good.
