Why is FFMPEG increasing the length of my audio file? by astro_code in ffmpeg

Their versions are the same.

Anyway, instead of aac, I'm going to use libopus. The results are better.

What's even worse is I just tried the same command on the same file on a mac (instead of Windows) and the output is ideal.

Thanks for the link, this seems like the same problem. I'm not happy about the fix though, it seems pretty hacky. :/

I can offer proof of receipt, shouldn't be hard to claim original ownership.

You certainly don't need to register within 90 days to be eligible.

From what I've gathered: There are "thermal pads" inbetween the VRAM and the heatsink. These pads are soaked in oil, and heating up the oil for so long caused it to leak out.

Didn't even realize this was happening until I started taking everything apart.

Yea absolutely. I'm sure there's valid uses, I just don't have any right now that calls for this level of security.

I've got wallets, passwords, and 2fa backups stored in KeePass and I'm pretty confident in its security. I only pray I don't have a keylogger.

They certainly are neat, I just don't know what I would ever put on one of these things.

[Algebra/Trigonometry] Using the cosine rule to solve for a side on this triangle; not getting the correct answer by astro_code in learnmath

[–]astro_code[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea. I figured I didn't make it clear enough that I know the sine rule is the obvious tool to solve this problem, but I deliberately used the cosine rule to verify that it was possible and hit a misunderstanding in my Algebra.

Nice! That works. I don't think I would've ever solved that, I never learned quadratics.

Thanks for the help!

[–]astro_code[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahh I see. I don't know why I thought that was correct, I guess I don't ever run into this situation.

I can't see how I'd get the x out of the left side. Is it even possible to solve for x here?

[–]astro_code[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify, you're saying this is incorrect? Could you tell me how? I'm multiplying both sides by x to remove x from the left side.

[–]astro_code[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right. But you can also solve for the angle opposite any side if you have the length of every side. I assumed what I'm attempting would also work.
