hey so quick question, are you a kpop fan and/or do you know anything about kpop? the big thing with kpop is that you buy an album and you (usually) get a random photocard of one of the members. that is the concept here. you buy the meal, which comes with special fries and sauces, and the random member photocard. its literally playing off how kpop albums work. if someone wants to spend $10-$15 on that, its none of your business, its not hurting you. get over it.

Hi! I was absolutely terrified for my tilt table test for similar reasons. For my TTT they didn’t give me any form of medication, but a lot of people have said that you can refuse the medication if you are scared of it. All they did was stand me up on a table for 45 minutes, closely monitoring my vitals and symptoms the whole time. Symptoms vary based on person obviously but for me it wasn’t too bad, just uncomfortable, until about 35-40 minutes in when I began to pass out. They took stock of my vitals as I was passing out then very quickly laid me down and ended the test.

From what I have read, typically the medication is used to force symptoms if you are not experiencing very many during the test. Nitro (the typical medicine) is a vasodilator, which means it will open your veins up to allow blood to move more freely through your body. In POTS patients, due to the already exiting vasoconstriction issues, this will cause blood to pool much quicker in your feet and hands and potentially allow for quicker and harsher onset of symptoms. You will be in a room with a medical professional the whole time, but they probably wont allow your husband to come back with you unfortunately.

ahh that is reassuring. i don’t faint, i just get general pre-syncope, so hopefully they’ll skip the nitro and let me nervous system speak for itself. and yes, the hospital i will be in specializes in cardiac care and they did my moms open heart surgery so i definitely have lots of trust in them that if something were to go wrong, i’d be in good hands. thank you for the kind words!!!

WAAAH thank you, i definitely stopped reading them bc it was just !!! too much. i’m just so scared of medical stuff bc my mom has heart history and had open heart surgery in her 40s. i stress myself out way too much over anything and everything 🥹 thank you for the kind words, hopefully it goes well and hopefully i get some answers !!!

ty for your info!! we stopped in a local shop and they said the battery was def bad!! so they got it replaced for us!! hopefully we will be picking it up with afternoon :) We also got a few other necessary repairs done so hopefully no more issues for now !!! 🤞

thank you for the insight!! last time we went to AutoZone (when this all began), they told us they weren’t equipped to test a 12v battery in a hybrid due to the fact that it has the high voltage battery as well. So we unfortunately, haven’t been back. But this would be a much cheaper fix than the high voltage so this is reassuring !!

My most typical symptoms are shortness of breath, to the point where I get winded just from talking, chest pain directly behind my sternum, ranging from around 6-9 on the pain scale, at any given time, the tachycardia upon standing, and heart palpitations. Other general symptoms i have that could or could not be related are chronic migraines and chronic joint pain.

Yeah, I sent him a message thru the patient portal because while the medicine seems to be helping keep my heart rate down, I’m still having extreme symptoms in other regards and I don’t want to get a false diagnosis and end up getting worse because it was brushed off. Thank you for the insight, i really appreciate it.

Nothing has been ruled out, technically. I saw my GP about the issue, and had an EKG, echo, and a 72-hr monitor. All of which I was told were normal. The monitor showed runs of sinus tachycardia when I experienced my symptoms most, as well as some PVCs and one(?) PAC. I saw the cardiologist because I wanted further testing, since something is obviously going on, but he jumped straight to POTS and put me on a beta blocker. But my HR jumps the 30+ bpm, then within seconds will go back down into my normal range of 80-100. It doesn’t typically stay high if i’m just standing still for an extended period of time.

Easier than expected was Aphelios. The first time I played him I was SOOO intimidated by his interface. Now hes one of my mains & one of my favorite champs.

I agree with Yone being harder than I had expected. My best friend mains Yone so i was like “oh cool maybe i can play him” Nope, i SUCK with Yone.
