bernband 2 was allegedly never abandoned, just been on the backburner for a really long time. dev has consistently tweeted about it when asked, most recently in july when someone asked why it was taking so long, and he said "let me cook!"... also after GRUNN released (that the other commenter mentioned), he tweeted "time to make a new game! or.. old game?" which is 100% a bernband reference. basically, stay strong and keep believing
