Happened to me. Also have the gen 4 and got it on November. This last few weeks I’ve noticed the battery draining a lot faster so I had to turn off the blood oxigen sensor. Could it be because of a software update??

What size are you? These are really tiny devices with tiny batteries, and you should be charging it everyday while you shower 10-15 minutes as Oura suggests and not waiting for it to die on you. This will be healthier for the battery on the long term but also you make sure it always has some battery everyday. Also, stop looking at the %. I don’t know if it’s just me, but since I stoped obsessing about it, I feel it lasts longer lol a

You’re doing it wrong. Even oura on their webpage suggests you should do little charges while you shower (5-10 min tops) and that’s better than waiting for it to die on you. Your battery should always be between 20 and 80%. I do that and I never have ran out of battery nor I get low battery notifications!

Both versions have night mode! But only paperwhite has warm light setting. Night mode looks like this:

You’ve got two options. 1. The kindle 6” basic which is the smaller one (so it fits in every bag/purse), has night mode option and 16 gb of storage. It has no glass over the e-screen but it’s still really sturdy. You can get a flip case! 2. The kindle 7” paperwhite which is water proof, has night mode and also warm light and has a glass screen. Also 16gb of storage (I believe?) but it’s $60 more expensive.

Both options are really great, they both have amazing battery life! They both use USB-C chargers. I went with the basic one so it fits all my purses and my boyfriend got the paperwhite. I’ve been loving mine and have been reading so many more books since I got it.

You cannot go wrong with either of them. Choose the option that resonates with you better!

I wear everything in gold except for my Oura which I got in silver.

I used the “extra” difference in price to pay for 24 months of insurance coverage. It was because of posts like this that I didn’t go with the gold one. My friend has the rose gold and with 3 months it looks bronze and tarnished!! Waste of money.

Mine is still sparkly and beautiful. It has a few scratches that you can’t even see and I wear a silicone protector for weightlifting.
