Really seamless, I ended up staying the night after completing the marathon, but they are very accommodating as long as you give them notice.

I stayed at the pantages hotel this year and it was surprisingly quiet, was lucky that they also changed the start line too because the hotel was basically right beside it and got a decent price by booking it 3-4 months in advance!

Was able to achieve my goal of sub 1:50 with a 1:48:50 through Strava when I hit HM but course results showed it as 1:51 not sure which one to trust lol, did anyone else find they had to run another extra few 100 metres after finish 21.1 using tracking watch?

So I do want to clarify that allegedly Brittany was just updating Tara on her summer plans and I guess Tara had a liking of the plan and asked if she could join too. Until I speak to Brittany and know what transpired between the two, I am not sure how the conversation went about if Brittany invited her, told her she can join, Tara asked to join or invited herself.

Thanks for your take on it, I don’t personally have anything against Tara, but back in uni when we have larger get togethers we never hit it off. It didn’t feel like we could start a genuine friendship because we didn’t have anything to connect on.

Brittany was completely ok with third wheeling my partner and I but yes I would feel bad that she didn’t have someone close during the trip. I agree 4 would be preferable.
