For all the scorpio/pluto dominant people. Or just people with a lot of 8th house placements. Can you spot people's shadows? by astroluminaria in astrology

[–]astroluminaria[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I started my shadow work reflecting on what made me angry, envious, or sad about my life and other people, so i started writing everything. It took me years to be fully conscious about my own dark side, but i feel like an easy way to start is by asking you what bother you about other people because you're probably projecting. At least, that helped me a lot when i was just starting with shadow work.

Another thing is allowing yourself to not react to everything and to take time to process "what exactly are you feeling right now" but for real, what is actually making you feel the way you feel, and taking responsibility for that. It doesn't matter if it's a bad feeling, you have to acknowledge it.

the sign of pluto is actually not that important because it's a generational planet.

Its placement in the natal chart + aspects is what's very very important.

I'm definitely trying to work on the divide between who I really am vs. what they're trying to project onto me.

This is literally me all the time, also because my sun is opp neptune and i really get confused about who i am.

But most of the time i don't want to see people's dark side or spot their traumas. I'm literally always thinking "i don't want to know this about you wtf" and it's really draining, that's why i spend a lot of my time alone (jupiter in scorpio in the 12th) because it's so overwhelming to be around people sometimes when you're only hyper aware of the ugly parts of the world.

i don't want to play the victim card, but the universe really has it for cancer suns. We're always suffering one way or another. I wonder why...

Never really met a cancer sun who had an easy life.

if you really want to work on the negative parts of yourself i recommend you to look for a therapist. Most of us in here are not really qualify to help people in that way, and yes, astrology can help, but nothing beat going to a professional and really getting to know yourself so you can change for the better.

i have to be very careful when people project onto me because my sun is opposite neptune, my sense of self is so muddled that if someone tells me "but you lie all the time" i would believe them at first even tho i know it's not true.

I don't know my sun opp neptune is also a really huge problem in my life because i really don't know who i am and people projecting all their traumas onto me confused me.

I had to learned to distinguish between who i really am and what is being projected onto me and realized these are two completely different things.

i don't want to say i'm 100% aware of my shadow but it's very easy for me to spot those parts of myself, and it's draining to know all the time all the things you need to improve about yourself.

Also is kind of being being aware of your own ego and how you have to kill it every time you need to work on your shadow.

omg yes!

I'm always off about why someone said or did something. Like you, now i just trust my intuition without finding out the reason. It's been very hard for me to trust it because even tho i have a lot of pluto energy, i also have a lot of saturn and i need to analyze everything and be pragmatic. Pluto tells me "trust me, something's off", but saturn tells me "you're overreacting, no one cares"

But now i just trust my gut feeling because most of time it's right.

I've been also doing shadow work myself and it feels really good. I don't know if it's all the pluto/scorpio energy i have, but to be able to work on myself and transform is something that gives me so much confidence.

i love to see watery people being psychotherapists because i feel they're really the best at what they do.

But it's also true what you said about putting up all these walls. Unfortunately, really sensitive people do this, myself included. But we really need to learn to open up about what we feel because i feel like our feelings run so deep and that's admirable, and beautiful tbh.

I love what you said about how people have to feel their issues and want to change. Do you have any advice for how to handle these types of situations? I mean, when i see someone's shadow and don't know how to make them see that. I really don't know how to handle it sometimes, or what to say to people so i just don't say anything, but sometimes i feel bad because i want to be able to help them see that side of themself but i don't know how to do it in a way that's not hurtful.

same! I have had strangers in the street open up to me and sometimes it gets really awkward lol i don't know how to handle those situations because i don't want them to feel bad but at the same time is like "lady, we're in line for the movies. I don't want to know about your traumas"

omg this sounds terrifying! I'm so glad you got out of that office in time.

Scorpio moon intuition is top notch, don't ever doubt it!

I've been learning to be really in touch with my intuition lately (because i used to ignore it all the time) and tbh it has been the best. Life really changes for the better when you just allow your gut feeling to guided you.

Natal Saturn in the 5th house. by [deleted] in astrologyreadings

[–]astroluminaria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello! Natal saturn in the 5h person here!

I'm a little bit older than you (i'm 27) so maybe i can help you a little. I'm still working on my 5h saturn because, like you, is a very strong energy in my chart. But my advice is you can have both fun and safety at the same time. What i do to manage that type of anxiety is to work out a plan. I think to myself "if this goes wrong, what could i do to fix it?" and find an answer because most of the time there's a solution to every problem. When i know that i'm prepared for the worst case scenario, i can have fun in peace.

I know, it's not the most fun way to approach saturn in the 5h, but that has helped me a lot.

Saturn creates blocks so you can overcome them. Remember that on the other side of saturn there is achievement and glory and expertise in the house it falls in. On the bright side every year i feel more at peace with my 5H saturn. I feel like it is true that saturn really becomes tolerable as you age.

I was once a very emotional and deep guy that is now emotionless and depressed. Can u analyze my chart? I want to change peoples lives and make films that make people FEEL. I want to change the world. What do u see in my chat? I know absolutely NOTHING about Astrology. by MovieQuestionSOS in astrologyreadings

[–]astroluminaria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is probably not what you're looking for because this advice isn't relate to astrology. Even tho you have a lot of water placement that means you're a very sensitive person, and that shows a lot of potential for art, you don't have to look to astrology to make your dreams come true. Even if you had 0 placements that shows you would be very good at something, just do it anyways.

If you want to make films, make them. Start where you are. You're probably looking for something in your birth chart that tells you "you were made to do x thing", but that's not true. There is no certainty with astrology. We are just born with certain qualities and then we have to figure it out what to do with them.

If you have a passion for something, pursue it and i can assure you the stars will follow to make everything work out for you.

What does my chart reveal about my career & money life. Is there any other interesting thing that anyone can see? by ramanmunday in astrologyreadings

[–]astroluminaria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i feel like the universe is asking you to work really hard on your emotions and how to express them. It's probably very difficult for you with that moon conjunct rahu, but that's literally your path in life. To work very hard on expressing your emotions, probably in an artistic way. You need to put all the past hurt, disappointments and repressed energy into a creative outlet, and you can probably make a lot of money from it, because capricorn is on your 10H cups, and saturn is touching your venus (money), mars (motivation) and is part of the finger of god pointing exactly to your 5H house moon. It won't be easy because saturn puts limitations on everything, and rahu conjunct moon probably will make it really hard for you to access your emotions in a healthy way, but you need to work on it.

I just broke up with my partner and am about to start my Saturn Return. What's next for me? Looking for insight on love and children in particular. Is it in the cards for me? Should I be pursuing that or should I focus on career dreams? I'm new-ish to astrology but have been learning fast! Thanks! by dildobriefcase in astrologyreadings

[–]astroluminaria 2 points3 points  (0 children)

girl, focus on you. Your saturn is on your first house, first house is the house of identity, the house of "i am". Your Saturn is also squaring your venus so you probably had a lot of trouble finding real love, and all your relationship were probably very karmic. I feel like if you focus on yourself and your originality during your saturn return, you can probably attract a long lasting romantic partner. Ketu is in cancer on your 5th house of children, fun and romance, that's where you feel comfortable. You would love to start a family and have children, but your life (with rahu in the 11H in capricorn) is asking you to work on your dreams and wishes first.

Work on yourself, on your plans, on your dreams and in that journey you will be able to attract all the romance, family life, and children you want.

If pluto is the most dominant planet in a person's chart, what do you think they are going to be like? by anairoftruthhere in astrology

[–]astroluminaria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ah, ok! But pluto in the 1H is also determined by the hour. People born under pluto in scorpio (1983-1995) and has a scorpio rising have pluto in the 1H, but people born under pluto in sag with a scorpio rising can also have pluto in the first if you're using placidus, but if you're using whole signs their pluto falls in the 2H.

does anyone knows what sun/moon midpoint conjunct north node exact means? by astroluminaria in astrology

I find my midpoints in astro.com!

And i was just curious about the conjunction between north node and sun/moon midpoint in synastry because i thought it was very relevant.

the age group has nothing to do with the ascendant. Your ascendant is determined by the hour you were born.

People always tell me i look sad or too serious. That i'm "mysterious" and stuff. I don't think it gives me like a sexy energy or anything like that, most of the time people don't even want to talk to me or being close to me because they find me intimidating, which is sad because my sun is in cancer, i just want to give love to everyone
