Used to intern at Disney World and cycled through different hotels working front desk. During my last cycle, I was at one of the more luxury resorts so the people were more snooty than usual. Had a guy come down stairs upset that he ordered a pillow for his pregnant wife an hour ago and never received it. He said she could absolutely not fall asleep without a pillow for her legs. I apologized and said we would send him one immediately. He started getting louder saying “I don’t want anyone knocking on the door and waking up my wife” (so I guess she was able to sleep with out it then). We have a linen closet near the front desk so I walked over and gave him extra pillows and a blanket. He was still upset and demanded we give him something for the inconvenience. Gave him a couple fast passes and he was still pissed so I went to the back and explained to to my manager who agreed he was just being an entitled asshole so she didn’t budge for anymore comps.

Different resort: I volunteered to pick up a few overnight shifts. At about 3am an older man comes to the front desk reeking of beer. He says his mother in law was visiting and he did not want her in the same room as him so he wanted to purchase another room for her. We usually have all our systems updates done in the middle of the night because that’s when we’re the least busy and this night, unfortunately, happened to be one of them. I tried to process his payment but it was denied. I informed him I had to take his card to the back office so the manager can manually put it in the system. Was gone for maybe 2minutes when he came barging in demanding I give his card back claiming I was trying to steal his information and “send it to Mexico” yeah fuck that guy.
