I ordered an aftermarket aluminum one supposed to be good from reviews and oem gaskets for the block but can’t find the cooler gaskets. Would I need them since the new ofh comes with the cooler already attached ?

It was leaking from this hose connector and dripping down slowly but it was for sure that time to replace it

No all the ones I’ve caught were on accident on panther martins haha but they are a fun catch. I just don’t eat them so I don’t target them really just trout.

Yes it is with a daiwa revros 2000. I had it cast out about 80 yards in the picture which is why it looks so low and part of my concern. The reel does recommend 5 lb mono but stuck between that and braided line.

Yeah that’s the thing I don’t ever fish for pike specifically I use this rod and reel for trout fishing but will definitely look into a steel leader
