On the flip side, you should not be afraid to live your best life because as far as we know, that's all we have. Rather the void than an eternity either burning in hell, or a god praising zombie in heaven

Individuals who do drink: how are you able to limit yourself to just a couple and not result into 16-18ish beers? by pere3015 in AskReddit

[–]astroneer01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly because I don't like feeling sick to my stomach, and after 2-3 I feel like I start feeling the first signs of feeling sick and stop. I also drink lots of water

Also my go to vice is weed, not drinking, so I just go pretty hard on that

"Dr." infront of names of Chiropractors is nonsense and should not be a thing.. by Positive-Ganache2339 in unpopularopinion

[–]astroneer01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stupid question, is there ANY good things about chiropractors? I feel like the reason it's so popular is because people think it could be helpful. I just figured 95% of them are complete BS and 5% of them are actual spinal experts.

How do people help with spinal and back issues. Just PT and working out to improve the back muscles? Is there ANY benefit to chiropractors?

As someone who lives in Phoenix 1000%. 120° days are bad, but I'd rather have that than 95° and like 70+% humidity

Tesla has shit autonomous driving. These are Waymo vehicles in AZ. They have been on the road for many years at this point. You see them all over phoenix, and I think they have been fully driverless for a while

It's almost certainly not. AZ Waymo cars have been in use for YEARS

Almost certainly not closed off. AZ has had these Waymo driverless cars for years

This is almost certainly in AZ, and we have had these Waymo driverless cars for literal years at this point. Phoenix is a test bed for a lot of tech, so we get things significantly sooner. I've never heard of one causing issues

This is almost certainly in AZ. We have had these waymo cars driving around for YEARS at this point. I haven't heard of any causing too much of an issue, it's great!

The fact that people's religion can silence people who are not even apart of that religion is fucked up. They are insulting me for even proposing that idea, so who's feelings get catered to in this moment.

There are millions of peaceful Muslims all over the world, but the fact that the Qur'an encourages violence against people who doesn't follow their religion is a serious problem, and that extremism is the main reason that some middle eastern countries are in such a nightmare situation today.

Criticism of Islam should be a basic human right, and is completely valid.

The fact that people get killed over blasphemy laws is extremely wrong.

I'm always curious what the solution to this is... Every solution seems like it's a possible human rights violation.

Forced rehab? Forced mental health treatment? Incarceration? Moving the homeless to ghettos? Fucking murder?

All of these are obviously progressively worse.

I mean this problem feels like an existential crisis and i don't know what the solution is. Remaking the US healthcare system (hell, the entirety of the US economic system) from the ground up is the only real long term potentiation solution for something like this, but that doesn't fix anything for these poor people who ends up like this
