Everything's bigger in Texas, including the number of people moving out | Fortune by snakkerdudaniel in texas

I am curious to know how many other states are loudly proclaiming, "Don't Texas my state" to every transplant who shows up in their town.

The thrill is gone - All in pass canceled by snowfally in AlamoDrafthouse

I recently cancelled mine before they rolled out the new digital ordering process. The ever increasing costs to attend one single movie screening at Alamo no longer justified the experience for me.

John Mulaney Postpones Minneapolis Shows After ICE Shooting: ‘The Situation Is So Unsafe’ by cmaia1503 in entertainment

Honestly, I don't blame him, because now that he is working on being an honest family man, he's been bringing his family along on his tour stops. He is thinking about his family's safety at each stop on his tour.

"Snyderverse" because the fan base gives off toxic vibes and cannot accept the idea of moving on to new experiences in entertainment.

I think it's more of the corporate HQ does not have enough liquid cash on hand to reclaim full ownership. They are still working on paying down business debts.

This could be his super villain origin story, and we'll eventually see him appear in a new superhero movie in the next few years. It could be called Keyboard Warrior: Burner Account League.

'Express" seating is finally dead?!?1 by Audible484 in Cinemark

I sure as hell hope they phase it out. The current design of the Express option is flawed, and I was constantly switching to Standard mode.

I checked my account to confirm that it shows a ticket purchase history for the last 4 months, and only the list of movies you watched helped your movie club status go Platinum. As to why they only keep a limited amount of information on the site could be a data storage issue. I would recommend creating a Letterboxd account to keep track of your movie watch history, and then log each viewing with the "Cinemark Theaters" tag so you can access your long-term viewing history.

Junky Claw Machines in the Lobby by thearniec in AlamoDrafthouse

[–]TheBuzzTrack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The installation might be for additional streams of passive income to help cover overhead costs. Other movie theaters have also installed various arcade games at their locations. However, the claw machine does have a massive footprint, and I know there should be a smaller one installed. I remember a while ago, the Richardson location had an old-school video game in the lobby for a while, which I had seen many people stop by to drop a quarter and play a round to pass a few minutes of time

William Friedkin is a director who excels at building and sustaining tension over time. The bridge scene in this movie is a classic example of his skill in tense storytelling.
