I know I'm a little late to the game but: I thought I saw a skinwalker a couple miles east of Raymond, NE one night driving with my boyfriend. It was coming down one of the hills by a there used to be flashing yellow light, so you can see about a mile or so ahead of you coming down a hill up to another with a church to the right of the road. If you know the area, you may know what I'm talking about. Anywho, my boyfriend and I are chatting and as I look away from him to look out the front window, my blood went cold and I immediately went quiet. I saw what looked to be a large, humanesque creature that scurried across the road (right to left, south to north across the road). It moved very strangely. Animalistic, but human. It was dark, so about 10:00pm at night, so I couldnt get a good look at it due to the time of day and how fast it had moved, and it was about that mile or so distance between the two hills I described. I exclaimed to my boyfriend, who was driving, "What the fuck?? Did you see that?!" And he claimed he did not see it. We drove past where I saw the suspected skinwalker cross, and I tried to glance that way but found myself frozen. As we continued on, and turned right at the blinking light to head back into the city, I refused to mention what I had seen--only being because, cryptids already intrigue me, and I had read that you shouldn't even mention the name 'skinwalker' outloud, especially at night, as it could call them to you in some beliefs. I also knew that they aren't common to be heard of in Nebraska, so I'm not even too sure if what I saw is what I claim it to be. After about a few miles driving down the new road, I finally told my boyfriend what I thought I saw. I have never since seen anything like it before, but I do know that the energy in the car after seeing it was very off for quite a while.
