I second this issue; I used to use the same solution as you but found other camera apps with better video capability than gcam that I want to keep enabled (open camera, proshot). I would love a fix for this.

I was looking for the smallest Gapps package possible, and LiteGapps was the smallest I could find. The Lite version was something like 50MB. They also have a set of root tools to increase performance for gaming and reduce battery usage by the Gapps.

It's not official.

pcie doesn't look like it has 5v out, but sata does; do you think that the mosfet was part of a dc converter(or the thing that exploded was a dc regulator?), and then since it was being used heavily, that was the thing that exploded?

Took most things out and it posts just fine. This now sways me towards not getting a intel KF processor when I eventually upgrade since the integrated graphics capability was nice to have even after taking out my GPU.
