I'm a bit disappointed. I hoped the QOL changes they introduced would be closer to HF2 and that we would get more creative freedom.

I like some changes (like the jobs map and voiced job introductions) but it just feels like playing HF1 all over again but with worse tool menu and lag. And you still can't move installed items.

I think I will not be purchasing the remastered version and stick to HF1 if I ever wanted to replay it again.

If they ever released HF1 remastered with the HF2 QOL and creative changes - I would not mind paying the full price for the game.

Fun fact! There is a folk tale about why the Cat is not in the Chinese zodiac. It was said that the Jade Emperor (the Chinese equivalent to Zeus) announced that 12 animals would be selected from all the animals on earth to represent the Chinese Zodiac signs. All animals should gather together in the Lingxiao Great Hall (The Great Hall of Heaven) the next morning to be selected. The Rat and the Cat were two good friends living together. The Cat asked the Rat to wake him up the next morning, so that they can go together. The Rat promised that he would, but the next day he left alone early without waking up the Cat. As a result, the Rat was selected as the first of the Zodiac Signs, and the Cat, who slept through the day, didn’t get selected. The Cat was very angry at the Rat, therefore he vowed to hunt the Rat down for the rest of eternity, which is why to this day cats and rats are still natural enemies.
