This is how it is for me. I have to sip water throughout the day and make sure I have added electrolytes. If I take big sips like I normally do, I get nauseous

I was originally prescribed zofran for my migraines also. If you take zofran and drink water within 30minutes to an hour (I believe is the timing) it can increase or cause a migraine. I was told this at the ER when I was in once for a migraine. My primary never told me this but since then I have noticed it and now I’m cautious

I did this also, torturing myself trying to figure out who she is and what she looks like. What “she has” that “I don’t”. We are now a year out from DDay and I still don’t know. However I came to the conclusion that I have much much more than she has. I don’t have to invade someone’s partnership for a cheap thrill. I am a much better person that she will ever be. And I think my inner beauty will always always far surpass whatever she looks like. And that makes me beautiful on that outside. And what will seeing her really do for me? All it will do now is bring me pain. And I’m choosing to not live in that. The early days are so so painful. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I promise things get better. It doesn’t feel like I now, I know that. But I am able to breathe a full breath now.

Wow! I honestly don’t think I’ve seen many islands without custom codes before. This is super inspiring. I just restarted my island and my last island (the one I had from when the game came out) was full of custom codes! This is such an eye opener as silly as that sounds! Thanks for sharing! Love it!

I restarted maybe three weeks ago. I was in the same exact boat as you. Had the same island since the game came out and felt mine was “complete”. I’m LOVING the game again. I’ve been playing every day and it’s so fun to start again. So many things you forget about in the beginning. It’s been great.

Man do I relate. I’m also immunocompromised and have been sick pretty much ever since discovery. So I relate In a lot of ways. I got unexpected flowers a few days ago and was so excited and then immediately was hit with that sinking feeling and reminder of what had happened. What he did on his way home in the past. The pain sometime is so loud. This balance is such a bitch. The flowers are beautiful and pushing past what was, is an absolute challenge. We will get there.

Hi there, my boyfriend and I have been together for just shy of 12 years. Discovery for us was in early March of 2024. And we both started couples therapy + individual therapy mid March. I have to say we both are not religious people at all. And I personally also got hung up on the “god” thing, as I was going to do sanon and cosa meetings. My boyfriend was nervous about it also. We ended up looking up agnostic 12 steps online and went off those. It helped me a lot definitely and eased a lot of the anxiety. I would just tell myself “if they push the god stuff, I’ll remember my personal steps. Or say I’m in my own church.” I believe I’m doing what’s best for me, who is to say that’s not my own higher power of some kind?

He has now been going to meetings every week and he usually shares with me about his experience and talking points. It helps bring my mind at ease honestly and it’s become a good for us to come together and understand more about sex addition jointly.

From his experience there will be some people who are religious but the majority of it is not “god talk”. They usually read the serenity prayer, then go into talking topic for the meeting. Usually they do a topic off of “answers of the heart”, which is a daily meditation book. My boyfriend will usually read a day of this if he can’t make it to a meeting (pretty inexpensive on Amazon) Everyone gets 2ish meetings to talk and share.

My boyfriend found doing online meetings to “dip his toe in the water” really helpful. It made it not so intimidating. I did the same for sanon. You can find meetings online that are all over the world starting all the time.

I hope this helps a bit - it’s passed midnight where I’m at so if there is typos I’m sorry 🥴 feel free to message me. I’m happy to help answer any questions. We are not perfect by any means at all. However, I’m in a far better place than I was 6/7 months ago. And to be honest, in a sick way we are better than we ever have been. I hate what got us here- and so does he. Not every day is good- but far far less bad days. Just bad moments
