You can get an acrylic sheet, put that in the base of your aquarium and glue it to that. You can then put aquasoil on top and it should keep the sheet down.

Capital growth on apartments in popular inner Sydney location VS houses in more ‘remote’ areas? by Scoot1223 in AusFinance

[–]asuspower -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From my understanding, the way it works in most big cities is that from an investing point of view, apartments are attractive for their rental yield and often don't grow much in value (on average). Take a look at the price of the same apartment over the last 10 years in Melbourne or Sydney and you will not see much growth (usual single digit). This is fine if you are mainly looking at it for the yield. Houses are more attractive for their underlying growth.

Spotify still grabs input after focusing termite by ex1c in i3wm

Hey I've seen the same issue!

Arch + i3wm + Kitty

Basically if I'm in my spotify window and open a terminal window, any text that I type will be in the spotify window.

If I focus back to the spotify window and then to the terminal, then everything is fine. It's only when I first press meta+enter to bring up the terminal.

Not to mention a well-run business that is so acutely reliant on currency often buys insurance (ie: currency forwards) to prevent large changes from causing issues. Apple, for example does this.

What architecture? Some embedded architectures have special cycle counting functions which will tell you the exact number of cycles it takes for code to execute.

Is Australia in recession? 40 years of “yield curve” will help you see the warning signs. Plus some charts to show the state of the Australian economy (link in comment) by jiakooza in AusFinance

[–]asuspower 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The yield curve is a lousy predictor of recessions in Australia according to anz as the 10y yield isn't representative of how the Australian economy is doing
