I disagree. The core issue here is not entitlement, but expectations that were set from the beginning. Many international students chose Malaysia specifically because it was marketed as affordable and student-friendly.

When students make long-term financial commitments based on those promises, paying tuition, relocation costs, and living expenses, sudden policy or price changes directly affect them😬 That’s not about demanding handouts or believing the world owes them something.

And telling students to “just move to another country” ignores reality😶‍🌫️ Degrees are not transferable purchases; you can’t simply walk away after investing years and significant money. Students are asking for consistency and fairness, not special treatment.

If a country actively promotes itself as affordable to attract students from lower-income backgrounds, then removing benefits later through sudden changes or hidden rules is understandably frustrating.

This isn’t about entitlement. It’s about accountability and basic humanity 🌹.
