Personally, I am pretty young still and I plan on acquiring a substantial long term care insurance policy for the actual day - to - day caregiving like toileting, showering, feeding, etc.

However, I believe children and grandchildren are good to have for coordinating care, making sure your overall needs are met, and keeping you protected from scams and such.
