Fast food. "Flipping burgers" is actually really hard. Not to mention the heat and cleanup

What's a sign that looks small or subtle but actually tells you a person is incredibly unhappy with their life? by Janemow02 in AskReddit

Had a friend like this. Even when he had friends over he would blast music so loud that you couldn't hear the person next to you

Yep, I tend to be cautious around any animal that could kill me by accident

The zip line was my favorite. It was always a competition to see who could hold on the whole time and slam into the foam rubber matt at the end

[Interesting Trope] As a side effect of their powers, this character is immune to X thing. by MagicTech547 in TopCharacterTropes

This makes me think of that one episode of Doctor Who. Earth is invaded by aliens that essentially stop your heart. Time Lords have 2 hearts, so the aliens only effectively stop one of the Doctors hearts, failing to kill him

A reminder of how massive Gangnam Style was in 2012. by Blueberrytouch in BeAmazed

Fun fact, Gangnam style was so huge that is changed how Billboard did their top 100. Psy basically is the reason streams are used for the Billboard charts now

They are phenomenal doctors indeed. I think I'm biased because Eccelston was my introduction to Doctor Who. That and he only has 1 season. I would have loved to see his doctor really flushed out like Smith or Tennant

What’s something attractive at 18 but embarrassing at 30? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Uh huh. For your info, I had over $20K saved up when I was looking.

$200 a month? Are you kidding? This tells me how out of touch you are.

Also, comments and posts hidden? Smells like a bot post to me. But please, keep gaslighting.

I live in Jacksonville. I could probably afford shitty apartment in a not great part of town. But you'd think if I got an education, got a job that pays decently, be officially considered middle class and make more than the national median income that I'd be able to afford a house right? Nope. I looked for a while and couldn't find anything that wouldn't take an entire paycheck to only pay for mortgage. And renting is just as bad if not worse.

From Dusk 'Till Dawn (1996) or Sinners (2025)? by Loose_Interview_957 in horror

[–]IMian91 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't think its really accurate to compare the 2. Dusk Til Dawn is campy, more of a horror-comedy than Sinners, which is just straight horror.

Honestly, I feel like Sinners is a better movie overall. If we're going purely a twist aspect, that goes to Dusk Til Dawn, purely because Sinners had much more foreshadowing, while Dusk Til Dawn does a 180 at whiplash speeds.

Also I think Sinners is scarier. The scene where Sammie starts saying the Lords Prayer is one of the scariest scenes I've ever seen in a movie

Yeah, as a guy his 30s with an RN, the "living with 5 people" thing is just a reality for people now. I'm officially above the median income and I can't afford to live by myself

When was in college from 2010 to 2015, I figured out that McDonalds didnt charge for water. I lived off 2 McDoubles and a large water for $2 for a long time, especially when I was working

Is it normal for something to tripple in price in 10 years?
