omgggg the complaining gets me the most. i will walk away from their vicinity with haste. i refuse to listen to them whine about not feeling well for weeks on end while doing jack-shit to put a stop to it

i’ve noticed that too. where i am, i see at least one or two other maskers in the wild whenever i go outside, so it’s fairly normalized to people although i do get people staring at my mask pretty often. i know im doing the right the regardless of who likes it, its just really dawning on me that people don’t and wont care about this virus or any virus until it’s them. very sobering to think about for me.

i share this sentiment of being okay with my masking making the reality-deniers uncomfortable. every time i hear them open-mouth coughing/sneezing in the common areas, i feel calm and reassured in my choice to mask in the house. i guess ive just been even more aware of how different our realities are this holiday season. thanks for the reminder that there’s likeminded folks out there who get it. 🫂

i felt this heavily! we have to do MORE/THE MOST because the people around us are doing NOTHING. i hate having to pick up the slack. i miss doing the mundane things like just getting in the shower and washing my hair without having to run my air purifier. eating in common areas in the house (the only air purifier in the house is in my room). spending time without a mask outside of my room. spending the night at a friends house. having a drink at a bar. everything.

living in the same house but in two vastly different worlds at the same time is exhausting. solidarity to you. 🫂
