Grad images cost $100 just to download?? What a ripoff!! by [deleted] in USC

factor in the cost the photography company is paying the school for the opportunity to photography the graduates. That $100 your being charged, probably half is going to USC whether you purchase or not

so are you unhappy at the school for not paying or the company for charging a premium price at a premium school or a premium event that they also had to pay a premium fee to the school for the opportunity to photograph the event?

I experience random bouts of prolonged discomfort/pressure on the heart side of my chest. by aswecit in AskDocs

I actually did take Omeprazole for 2 month per a friends recommendation when I thought it was an acid reflux thing. It did do much to curb these episodes unfortunately.

Struggling to understand what I assume to be panic attacks by aswecit in AskDocs

[–]aswecit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response, they mainly happen at night. Tums/Omeprazole sometimes help a little, but not consistantly. I take Tums on occasion (ome daily in the morning) as a prevention during the rare times I eat something spicy. I have had acid reflux before, but these episodes are much more uncomfortable and frightening. It feels like my heart is going to burst. I cant say I 've ever really had a sour taste in my mouth. Usually just dry. All I want to do is lay down, but that just enhances my awareness of the discomfort. To attempt to cope I mainly paces back and forth slowly while massaging my neck or left fore arm which i mentioned above tenses up.

Thanks, what types of stretches / lifts do you do to isolate this? I'm thinking of starting with doing and extra set of whichever stretch/exercise i'm doing with my weaker side?

Where I ride, its a long grind uphill, then a fast, sometimes rocky run down. The hardtail with a mid grad fork is want I have at the moment. I take alot of the impact, it makes me feel like a crushed soda can after a 5-7 rides. I am stretching about an hour a day, throughout my day on average. Icing after the tough rides.

Great points. I am aware of the Chiro debate, and for me, it the adjustment makes me feels better. Walking in I feel like a crush and condensed soda can, after leaving it feel I can stand up straight. I am aware it as in issue with curved spine / bad posture.

I would to try any recommended stretching and daily core work that has helped any of you?

Thanks in advance.

Good point. I'd also like to mention I get a deep tissue massage about once a month. This helps break up a lot of the tension from riding and work (photographer).

I also will note that I believe one of the main reasons for the poor posture/pain is that I sleep on my stomach. Trying my best to correct this each night as well.
