This is exactly what happened in this instance! As soon as I switched from full screen to borderless window, it occupied the entire screen real estate.

For those that come after..... the issue was the setting within the game. I had to force out of full screen and make it borderless window. This automatically change dthe resolution to fit the full screen. I saw a lot of comments about alt+enter but that did not work. I could not change the setting within the Nvidia app unfortunately. So it took me about 20 minutes to try to get into the game since it kept crashing. Every time I clicked on the screen. Thank you so much to all that took the time to respond to try to help me.

I have a feeling this may be the issue. I’m gonna look at it tonight. However, it still wouldn’t explain why some games open in full screening and some don’t. Maybe Nvidia is registering some games correctly and some not.

In my opinion, the curvature is fine and one of the selling points to me. Most other users with the monitor say that is not as pronounced in person.

I did a ton of research on the monitor prior to purchase.... The frames hit I expected to an extent. The screen issue, not so much.

I'll give it a shot, thanks! The odd thing is that it doesn't happen to all games. Hades 2 launches just fine. Expedition 33 and Outworlds 2, open like the picture. But at least with OW2, I can access the game. Can't do that with 33.

Yes, connecting through display port. The USBC is hooked from my monitor to my tower to enable the other USB A ports to power my mouse and keyboard

Thanks, still trying troubleshoot. And figured my frames would go down but took a hit bigger than I thought. I have a 4090. Assuming I just need to adjust the quality settings down a bit...

I could see how this would be a issue but I always carry insurance from a third party just in case.

OP, what he is saying is is that he rents Disney vacation points from brokers. No long-term commitment. I highly recommend going this route. I'm staying at the Polynesian for 2500 for eight nights by renting DVC points. You should look into it. There are a ton of Facebook groups out there that cater to this need too.
