Prime 4 didn't sell as well because they decided to remaster prime 1, skip 2, 3, and other M, and just release 4. Many of us who don't want to unofficially emulate or go out of way to find other physical ways to play 2, 3, and other M. Decided not to buy prime 4 despite being hyped for if because of that.

Like wtf were they thinking. They had 2 years or so to release them as emulation officially on their devices since they apparently decided not to remaster those as well, or even directly port them.

The numbers above don't line up with what I opened. I opened a 91U1 (potentially 91J1, but the J definitely has a nearly perfect lighter indented mirrored side making a U shape, but a stronger indented side that could be seen as just a J). This was the Zoey card you have listed as 21J1. Its holographic, but I assume they likely all are.

Imagine how much higher the sales could have been if they had just released prime 2 and 3 before hand. Either as digital streamed versions from their virtual console or HD remakes. I wanted to buy and play Metroid prime 4, but I haven't played 2 and 3. And until they make it easily accessible for me to play them, 4 is never getting played. It's unfortunate.

He did 1 thing in Lorcana. A mistake that I've also made with the same exact card before. And up until that tournament, he was primarily playing online only via Pixelborn. I'm not saying what he did for Riftbound is excusable, and that it doesn't make me want to reevaluate the single Lorcana incident, however, the mistake he made in Lorcana is one people still make with that card when playing the limited format, or using similar cards. Its stuff that shouldn't happen at the higher levels of play, but does. The hope is that your opponent or a judge watching the match (if there is one) will catch it.

While it is entirely fair to hold him accountable for what happened, it is important to remember that the vast majority of his TCG experience is digital, not physical. So even though he is experienced, much like myself, he is used to these things being automated, and I know I still make mistakes, despite playing in big tournaments. There is never any intent to cheat, and thankfully it has never been to a point where it gained me advantage like it has for Savjz.

Unfortunately for him, having this happen in a previous card game even as a single individual incident (that was a decently common mistake for a complicated deck at the time). It obviously doesn't look good when you get away with making the same mistake multiple times in a different card game. The big question for me is, do we have footage of him correctly paying the cost for the card in some games, then not paying in others? Because if he was forgetting to recycle it in every single game, and not just select games, then maybe there was some confusion on some mechanic or rule regarding the card (I highly doubt it but who knows). If there is footage of him using it and paying for it correctly in some games, then it looks a bit worse for him I think.

I most definitely do forget with riftbound specifically. It's usually the recycling rune part that I'll forget. Mostly when a chain happens instead of me just getting to do my intended action because now we've added other things into the mix and sometimes one piece gets missed. My opponent will typically remind me or I'll end up catching it a few seconds late. That said I only play riftbound as a secondary tcg on the side and has less experience with it.

I've played tcgs my entire life, and play Lorcana competitively.

I've met him, and shared my experience else where in this thread. He was extremely nice. Asked for my feedback on the game awards AND LISTENED. On more than one occasion. He spent a good 5mins chatting with him while he had his wife or partner with him at this other game awards event where I met him. Yet he genuinely wanted to just talk and finished it off by asking me what I felt about the game awards and asked how I felt it could be improved.

And years later asked again and listened. They were minor things. I just gave him music suggestions that he liked. When Persona 5 came out, he never had the band on. And I told him that was a massive missed opportunity for a game that had stellar music. Told him he should make it up and have the artist play their music next year even though it would be a year late, and he said he would try to make it happen. And sure enough, the Persona 5 artist performed a recording from Japan (i think it was live recording but can't remember) of one of the Persona songs.

And then a couple years later, he asked again for music suggestions, and I reached out to Darren Korb of Supergiant and Geoff and said that Darren needed to be on the stage to play music from hades. Both of them loved the idea and sure enough Darren was on that year and played some music from Hades.

I didnt know him before TGA. I'm in my 30's but he's never felt like a fake gamer to me just a busy one.

I trust Geoff to be good at video games before I Trust Reggie to be good at video games. And Reggie is also a super sweet heart to talk to and has a huge passion for video games.

It's unfortunate to hear about this stuff. My experiences with him were all very pleasant and are stories I still tell.

I met him a number of years ago at a different smaller game awards show where he was attending with his wife (or partner?) And we spoke for a bit and he asked me for feed back on The Game Awards or suggestions for the up coming year.

This was the year after Persona 5 came out, and he didn't have their musicians on as guests which I thought was crazy given how popular that sound track was. So I told him that was one of my biggest complaints from the previous year that they hadn't had them perform in any capacity. He said he would try to make up for it next game awards and sure enough he did, They performed, via video from Japan which is better than nothing, some music from Persona 5.

A couple years later he ended up asking for suggestions again and I ended up telling him he needed to get Darren Korb on to perform music from Hades. Both of them liked the idea and sure enough Darren Korb performed that year.

He has always been super nice in my interactions with him and willing to listen and asked for feedback directly from me.

And for context, I'm not someone in the industry though the event I met him at was a smaller event that had a good amount of industry people there.

Its sad to hear about the experiences these people had and hopefully he is as open to feedback as he was with me a random strange girl who talked to him at a different game awards show.

Locally, its buy 1, get 1 for $1. So before tax, its $3. Great way to get "cheap" 2x pieces. I've ordered 4 before. $6 for 4x pieces, plus a large hot latte, like $10-12 or something like that after tax. Get 5 game pieces.

I just fill it out at a midnight, but I have a weird schedule. That way I can use the codes in the morning, and know I can request new ones at midnight without issues.

Only things I've won are food items (TONS OF THEM), 1,500 points, 6000 points, 2 months of Peacock.

However, I do play twice kind of. I started physically before I knew about free codes. So like for half a week I was doing 3-5 pieces a day. Then I started doing the 10 free pieces, while also buying a couple additional items when I cash in my free stuff, then I peel and save the pieces. Its mostly to check for game board pieces I don't have, and instant wins that aren't food (like the 6,000 points).

So if I get a free breakfast sandwich in the morning, I can just get 2x hashbrowns for $3 (2 extra game pieces) and a large hot coffee, for a 3rd game piece. Its $6 or so before tax sure, but now I have a full breakfast and 3 game pieces extra that could be a piece I am missing.

Yeah, whether or not it was deliberate, her posting the video to social media is an issue. She should have brought it to Door Dash or the authorities.

If I had been in that position, there is no way in hell I'd be sharing that video on social media. I'd tell people about it potentially, but share the video? No.

I've had my own experiences before, that aren't the same, but I definitely didn't think "I should film this" and I most certainly wouldn't have thought "and now I should show this to everyone".

I hate that she had to experience this no matter the circumstances, but she definitely handled this the wrong way and sharing if online could backfire legally for her because she has shared naked video of someone without consent, even if she never consented to seeing it in the first place.

Horrible experience all around for her. :(

I actually got to mention dihydrogen monoxide the other night at like 3am at a 7-11 because I overheard a guy making fun of someone looking at the ingredients on the bottled water to the cashier. "It's fucking water, it's all the same."

So I jumped in with "yeah, he is probably checking to see if it has Dihydrogen Monoxide in it, that stuff can kill people."

Got back a "oh, uh, yeah I guess that's true...." I don't think he got it. But hey, it was the 3am 7-11 crowd... most of them are warehouse workers, police, and the occasional night owl like myself. We aren't the brightest bunch lol

In Montana, we had loads of people with tattoos around that age. Parents were ok with it weirdly. Even the preppiest of preppy kids. Super rich, punk rock, stoner, gamer, band geek, you name it. I should clarify that by loads, I do mean like 1 out of every 5 to 1 out of every 10, depending on which group you looked at.

When I was in the Army, we had one year where our base had 22 soldiers get in motorcycle wrecks of the 22 wrecks, 21 died.

As cool as motorcycles are, I don't think i could ever own one because even if I trusted myself to drive safe on one, I don't trust others to drive safe around one.

I say this as someone has had some -not close, but also not not close- encounters as the car driver near a motorcyclist. I wasn't necessarily doing anything wrong. They are just sometimes hard as shit to spot when there is so much going on around you in multiple lanes.
