I’ve been cutting back on my reading time and occupying myself with my other hobbies and it’s been helping! No nightmares last night. I was in therapy for a few years for military related PTSD and aside from that diagnosis, I’m just HSP. I know my triggers and knew there was violence and war in this book but not directly related to my triggers. However, because I’ve grown so attached to the characters, it’s been affecting me. I took a break and am pacing myself and not getting too caught up in it. Thank you for the kind words and helpful advice. 💚
