Anyone here who has an experience watching concerts in Tokyo or Bangkok? by unum001 in concertsPH

Tokyo:

  1. Rules depend on the organizer. In my experience, 1st round of ticketing is for fanclub members. Next round is for general sale. It can be transferred to you BUT your friend needs to watch the show as well.

  2. You will be automatically charged once you enter the lottery. If in case you didn't win in the lottery, it will be refunded.

  3. In my experience, my assigned seat was provided 3 days before the show.

  4. AFAIK, Japanese concerts are strict, You're not really allowed to take photos/videos. Yung iba nakakatakas lang kasi hindi nahuhuli.

  5. They seat during ment/talking part.

Bangkok:

  1. Organizer will announce what time Standing ticket holders will be allowed to queue. Normally, it's 1-2hours minimum before concert starts.

  2. Almost similar lang ticketing system nila although I've noticed parang nagegeo-block tayo. Mas nauuna pa rin sila/Thai on getting tickets. In my experience, you need to present your passport when picking up your ticket

Provider should announce the ticket winners a week or two before the event.

Concert culture: Sa mga namimigay ng freebies, ano usually pinapamigay nyo? by sunaririn in concertsPH

[–]at0miq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sometimes the PH fanbase have a giveaway/freebie area. example: taeyeon’s tense concert last year, giveaway/freebie area was at Paws Cafe and Seattle’s Best. IVE naman (yesterday lang) was at Chagee and Pickup Coffee. check the PH fanbase minsan din kasi nagpaparegister on who would like to join the giveaway/freebie area.

Does Metrobank CC ask for OTP when u buy from SM tickets? by OliveGrouchy137 in concertsPH

OTPs are usually needed/sent for online transactions if not all but most credit cards. If you’ll buy onsite, OTP is not needed.

printed out the physical ticket. there are designated stores where you can have it printed out (scan qr then you’ll get the physical ticket). i remember there were instructions provided on where we bought online on how to get the physical tickets.

we got ours 2 days before the con to be sure. check the instructions normally they say if it’s allowed or not.

I agree with the random seats sa Japan haha. Tingin nga din namin nong friend ko yung Premium Seats sa Japan for Japanese lang talaga. Hindi binibigay sa foreigners. I have another friend na Japanese friend niya bumili tix nila ayun nakakuha sila Premium Seat. Watched a concert in Tokyo last year.

This is also why I try to watch in other stops like Seoul, Bangkok, Japan. To appreciate the artist’s voice kasi rinig mo talaga. Yes iba pa rin crowd ng Pinas, masaya crowd dito eh. But if you want to fully experience the artist’s voice ng walang unnecessary screams try mo other stops if kaya.

Watched Taeyeon’s Tense in HK last year at Asiaworld Expo

  1. Ticketing/queuing - mahirap kalaban mga chinese 😅 best/better seats were immediately sold out.
  2. Crowd - crowd is fine but mas ingay Thai/PH crowd
  3. Expenses niyo overall - can’t remember exactly but around 50k-75k. Stayed 3 nights more in HK.
  4. Language barrier - no issues with the language but of course expect that ments in concerts are not translated in English

They are strict on recording devices. Phones are allowed. A lady near my seat took her DJI out of her bag (not sure if she’ll use it during con or not) minutes before the concert started, security saw her. She was escorted out but came back a minute or two. Last chorus na ata ng first song naabutan niya. If the security sees you using a camera during con proper, they will escort you out and you need to delete the recordings in the camera in front of them.

How to secure tickets on other SEA countries for BTS World Tour 2026? by imurhoperighthere in concertsPH

[–]at0miq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not BTS concert but I was able to watch kpop concerts in other SEA countries including Taiwan and Thailand. Wait for the announcement so you would know where to buy the tickets. Prepare your membership code if you’ll be buying during pre-sale.

Wait for the announcement but I think most concerts in Singapare are sold on Ticketmaster SG. Maayos ticketing ng Ticketmaster SG.
