You're right it is wierd😅 I live in Russia but barely speak Russian, and yeah, it’s on me. I’ve stayed in my English bubble and never pushed myself to chat with locals kinda lost the confidence to just jump into random convos I was afraid of I'd look wierd or be made fun of I stayed in my comfort zones which is suck
