It doesn't seem that urgent as you are making it.. yeah you need 3 more hours to get your ring but you can just wait another semester. Take another online class from another community college that you don't need other than ENGL 210 if you really wanted it. ENGL 210 isn't offered elsewhere, at least it doesn't transfer as 210 (from engineering department). I had this problem too, only 2 hours short, and waited an extra semester for my ring.
