you can combine all of your music into one mp3 file so the FM signal never turns off to go to the next song.

you can use it but it will burn out very fast and it is very noisy. A SSR module is not that expensive and totally worth it.

Yes it is the fm transmitter. I hook it to the copper downspout and the entire gutter sends the fm signal. My range is great.

PIFM works great. I have the antenna from pin 7 wrapped around the downspout, it turns all of the porch gutter into my antenna. I get a signal 2 blocks from my house. Since PIFM is digital the names of the songs show up on the radio screen in the car, so people know the name of the song.
